•Development and implementation HSE programs and systems.
•Ensuring compliance with all applicable HSE standards, improving and implementing safety directions and policies.
•Generating weekly / Monthly reports for the client (NPPMCL).
•Coordination on compliance to HSE procedures, local and federal Government regulations (including all environmental, safety, health, audits, recordkeeping and trainings)
•Coordinate with Local EPA for compliance inspections, EIA Environmental Management plan for Operational Phase of the plant.

•Monitor the effectiveness of the site related rules defined in the Site EHS plan and revise as necessary to keep up to date, in consultation with the Regional EHS manager and Site manager.
•Ensure effective implementation of EHS management system including Policy, Plan, training, effective risk assessment, inspection and auditing.

• Develops Safety project procedures covering mechanical, electrical isolation, fire protection systems, escape, evacuation and rescue systems, pre-start up safety reviews. Follow up to ensure implementation and compliance.
• Implements effective safety and risk management programs in line with Company HSE goals. This includes to both Company and Contractor staff working in the project. Monitors incidents and near miss rates. Conducts RCA analysis of incidents as a regular feature. Reviews any incident reports such as Lost Time Incidents and serious Near misses. Ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent same in the future.
• Prepares regular reports on progress, performance losses, failures, achievement, tracking and trending and expectations for future management information and decisions. Monitors the quality and performance for safety culture and compliance against KPI’s and continuous improvement.
• Submission of HSE weekly/ monthly reports & Incidents reports to client.
• Plans and prepares the annual budget for HSE part in the project. Ensures sufficient funds are requested to manage activities. Monitors and reconciles expenditure against planned budgets. Investigate any variances to ensure cost control and review performance.
