Key responsibilities:
•Development and implementation HSE programs and systems.
•Ensuring compliance with all applicable HSE standards, improving and implementing safety directions and policies.
•Generating weekly / Monthly reports for the client (NPPMCL).
•Coordination on compliance to HSE procedures, local and federal Government regulations (including all environmental, safety, health, audits, recordkeeping and trainings)
•Coordinate with Local EPA for compliance inspections, EIA Environmental Management plan for Operational Phase of the plant.
•Take HSE initiatives and engage employees all level in various activities at the plant.
•Inspection of plant according to applicable NFPA to ensure Fire protection system functionality meeting insurer’s requirement.
•Conducting incidents investigations, i.e. identification of root causes & corrective actions, and maintained the record of all HSE incidents.
•Conducting HSE trainings for the Plant Employees.
•Maintaining material safety datasheets (MSDS) on hazardous material used in the work place.
•Provide EHS awareness through Hazard Hunts, safety talks and bulletins.
•Responsible for any other assignment given by Plant Manager, regarding the Health, safety, Environment.
•ER drills on scenarios like fire, hazardous material release & medical emergencies.
•Risk Assessments for routine/non-routine activities by putting risk assessment team together.
•Monthly/quarterly HSE meetings, bi-annual management reviews and leading joint walk downs.
•Coordinate with all departments in Developing processes and procedures to embed all the requirements of QHSE standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001 to support the organization certifications, providing assurance by leading to the internal audit program.
•Ensure ISO certification & renewal process completed successfully. Identify the processes necessary for the effective implementation of Integrated Management System. Ensure the documentation of these processes necessary to the extent to assure their effective operation.
Project: Haveli 1230 MW CCPP 9HA Gas Turbines
Client: Government of Pakistan
Key responsibilities:
•Monitor the effectiveness of the site related rules defined in the Site EHS plan and revise as necessary to keep up to date, in consultation with the Regional EHS manager and Site manager.
•Ensure effective implementation of EHS management system including Policy, Plan, training, effective risk assessment, inspection and auditing.
•Ensure engagement at all levels to effectively deploy the EHS strategy
•Ensure appropriate actions are taken in the event of non-compliance.
•Provide timely information to the site management in relation to any trends that become evident through analysis.
Establishing and implementing the LOTO program
Develop site specifics LOTO training under control of Commissioning Manager.
Ensuring that LOTO is issued in accordance with LOTO Procedure.
•Ensuring that all personnel working within the Authorized Employee(s)’ LOTO complies with all LOTO rules and regulations.
The periodic review and revision of the LOTO procedures as required
Ensuring all documents to be issued has the required signatures for approval/acceptance.
Conducting weekly LOTO audit with Commissioning Manager
•Stopping all work performed in an unsafe manner.
•Ensure effective implementation of GE standards and procedures at site, including the effectiveness of safety related processes owned by others such as commissioning.
•Liaise with key customers and other stakeholders regarding the EHS policy
•Ensure effective implementation of the site risk assessment process. Ensure an effective review of GE & sub-contractors method statement and associated risk assessment against GE, Client and regulatory requirements.
•Ensure full implementation of a just and fair culture in terms of reward and discipline at site.
•Effective implement and maintain emergency plans, security programs and site access control procedures
•Provide input to project performance reviews to prepare and submit weekly and monthly EHS report as requested by the Regional EHS Manager.
•Maintain appropriate records and documentation for the duration of the project.
•Liaise with the relevant EHS authorities and external services.
•In coordination with the Site manager, liaise with the customer on EHS matters review
(and validate or reject) the assignment to site of sub-contractors’ EHS professionals.
•To take action whenever site activities do not meet the applicable EHS requirements.

Key responsibilities:
•Responsible for keeping people free from danger, risk, or injury in the workplace and minimize losses due to injuries and property damage by implementing, Maintaining and Improving the HSE Management Systems requirements at project(s), prepare and ensure implementation of HSE Plan and Environmental Impact Assessment
•Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and other project related HSE documentation and technical requirements, targeting compliance to the international standards, and local regulations and legislations
•Review on a continuous basis the HSE policy and HSE systems and implementation of procedures on the project
•Promote environmental and safety awareness among the workforce and hold regular site meetings with supervisors, workers, sub-contractors
•Provide HSE support and advice to the project/site management
•Implement HSE management systems at site / field level, according to the Company HSE guidelines and standards
•Develop and implement safe systems of work for the project through safety staff
•Establish an environmental monitoring and audit program applicable to all phases of the operations

Key Responsibilities;
•To continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the project to create a culture that prioritizes effective HSE and balances overall associated costs.
• Review internal HSE policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate, conduct hazard and risk assessments and change existing, or develop new recommendations from these assessments.
• Suggest management for continuous improvement of Company’s Safety Management System and associated risk management tools.
• Ensure that Safety Management Systems are audited in line with company, and client requirements.
• Coaching HSE team members in implementing the Safety Management System, Risk Management tools and Safe Behavior Program.
• Monitor the effectiveness of the Safety Management System through formal HSE audits and inspections. Advise on, and implement, contractual HSE requirements, whilst liaising with Client to assure consistency of advice.

Key Responsibilities:
•To ensure effective planning, management and coordination of all HSE activities are considered at various project stages. This includes but not limited to emergency response, firefighting, occupational health, medical support, field safety etc.
• Access process safety and risk involved to determine if meets company policies and standards. Provides its input for consideration in decision.
• Coordinates the hazard identification process, formal safety assessments, process safety management issues and management of change to identity implications
• Provides strategic planning and execution of HSE programs and activities, staffing and training. Directs teams for emergency response for each of various contractors working in the project and plays a key role in their training and approval of staff to ensure safety conscious mindset is uniformly set across the board.
• Conducts and controls systematic identification, assessment and control of hazards and risks during the projects stages. Monitors critical activities, maintains the risk inventory, and coordinates qualitative and quantitative risk analysis.
• Develops Safety project procedures covering mechanical, electrical isolation, fire protection systems, escape, evacuation and rescue systems, pre-start up safety reviews. Follow up to ensure implementation and compliance.
• Implements effective safety and risk management programs in line with Company HSE goals. This includes to both Company and Contractor staff working in the project. Monitors incidents and near miss rates. Conducts RCA analysis of incidents as a regular feature. Reviews any incident reports such as Lost Time Incidents and serious Near misses. Ensure appropriate actions are taken to prevent same in the future.
• Prepares regular reports on progress, performance losses, failures, achievement, tracking and trending and expectations for future management information and decisions. Monitors the quality and performance for safety culture and compliance against KPI’s and continuous improvement.
• Submission of HSE weekly/ monthly reports & Incidents reports to client.
• Plans and prepares the annual budget for HSE part in the project. Ensures sufficient funds are requested to manage activities. Monitors and reconciles expenditure against planned budgets. Investigate any variances to ensure cost control and review performance.
• Preparation of permit to work system (PTW), LOTO procedure, issuance and maintaining the record
• Coordinated all the HSE activities with Client at PROJECT site through its respective HSE

•Develop HSE training material for project management core team first line supervisors and workers and hold orientation sessions for those proceeding to the projects.
