commissioning and development co-ordination of instruments and control systems in Food
processing Plant, projects.
➢ Leading a team of four instrument technicians
➢ Reporting periodically to Maintenance Manager
➢ Configuring and faults diagnosis of PLC and Control Loops ( Siemens Simatic S7 200, 300, 400)
➢ Installation, calibration and loop checking of the field instruments
➢ Maintenance and calibration of the control valves
➢ Experienced in the field instruments and control systems procurement activities
➢ Review of control philosophy, P&I diagrams, cause & effect diagrams, instruments list, flow chart
➢ Planning required upgradation for instruments to achieve production quality and cost
minimizing
➢ Strong background in motor defects, star/delta starters, VFD (Schneider Electric, Invt….)
➢ Maintenance and calibration of Electric control valves (Honeywell, Automa…)
➢ Maintenance and calibration of pneumatic control valves (Weir, Flowserv, Blackborough ...)
and part turn actuated valves MOV, NRV
➢ Maintenance and calibration of transmitters: PT, LT, TT, DPT (Emerson Rosemount, Endress
& Hauser, ABB ...)
➢ I/P Transducers (Siemens, OMC (PC13), SMC), Positioners (EKARDT….)
➢ Maintenance & calibration of temperature control system
➢ Installation and Maintenance of Pneumatic Cylinders, SOV’s, Regulators, Filters, Lubricators
(FESTO, CAMOZZI, SMC, COAP …)
➢ Ensure Spares balance and inventory control for all instruments’ spare parts
➢ Calibration of weighing scales
➢ Technical Support for the instrumentation team
➢ Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal
staff
➢ Purchasing equipment
➢ Understanding and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and quality
standards
