NetKom Technologies is the major solution provider/partner in Pakistani/Abroad telecom industry. It provides solutions in Optics/Access/Core/Datacom/RF/Civil. It has operational offices in different fields in UAE and Oman.

Currently I’m working as a Team Lead Optical Transmission. Responsible for installation leading, planning, estimating, coordinating, executing, reporting and providing technical support of level 1 and level 2.

Responsibilities:
HUAWEI Optical Transmission SDH (OSN-1500/3500/7500), DWDM (BWS1600G), NG-WDM (OSN 1800/3800/6800/8800) networks configuration, commissioning, surveillance at HUAWEI iManager U2000/T2000.
Fault management & event/incident handling on HUAWEI iManager T2000/U2000.
Network Implementation, Surveys, and Design & Commissioning of sites.
Cut over Plans & execution for new sites to bring them into Existing networks.
Network Monitoring, Alarm handling & QoS of nationwide network against different projects.
DWDM lambda addition and cutovers.
SDH system commissioning and PAT.
SDH, DWDM System Commissioning/Network Optimization / Assessment services.
Planning & provisioning of dedicated circuits for GPON/FTTH connectivity.
Coordination with all stake holders for all network related Tasks & issues.
Planning, Execution and implementation of software up-gradation activities of network when recommended by HUAWEI.
Project Costing and budgeting to minimize project cost.
MPLS basic knowledge and Packet configuration and troubleshooting.
