Project Name: Ashghal SA036 (Road Works in Southern Areas of Qatar) (QAR 260.4 million)
Job Duties:
• Preparing and reviewing of Quality documents (MAR, MIR, ITP, MST, PQD, SAR, FPC, etc.) in collaboration with technical team.
• Supervise the quality during the preparing of Bitumen PMB & CRMB with Manufacturer in order to closely follow and implement the job mix design parameters like MSCR, complex Shear modulus (G*), phase angle (δ), VFB, Gmm, VFA. etc.
• Closely monitor the laid CRMB, PMB, 60/70 and RAP mixed asphalt performances after laying by HBWTT.
• Preparing QAQC Questionnaire on monthly basis and reviewing test reports and ensure compliance with QCS 2014 and project specification.
• Supervise the SRC, OPC, Polymer Impregnated Concrete, shotcrete and fiber reinforced concrete mix pouring and laboratory testing.
• Coordinated with different stake holders (Ooredoo, Kahrama, PWA/QSD/RPD etc.) for end user handing over inspections.
• Responding to Material 'Non-Conformance Reports' (NCR) to GEC, site surveillance report, and reporting poor workmanship in a timely manner.
• Coordinated and worked with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
• Monitoring all stockpiles materials and identifications required as per QCS and project Specification.
Project Name: ASHGHAL-WA054 (RIW in Various Areas in Qatar) (QAR 410.8 million)
Job Duties:
Supervision and construction of SW Catch pits, Treated Surface Effluent (TSE), Foul
Sewer Manholes, Utility crossings and Storm Water Sewer with selected fill,
Gabbro, CLSM, Foam Concrete, Wrapped with Geo-Textile.
Responsible for quality control logs, assist in generating reports as per the
contractual requirement or procedure.
Supervising and monitoring the Micro-tunneling works, RC jacking pipes,
intermediate jacking stations and grouting with cement slurry.
Coordinated with different stake holders for emergency repairs, preparing
maintenance plans and supervision of temporary/ daily maintenance works
according to the work methodology.
Assisting QA/QC Manager and Technical team in reviewing of Method Statements,
ITPs, Material Submittals, Material Inspections and Quality documents.
Ensuring concrete mix design (Admixtures, Accelerators) for high strength concrete
Monitor Daily Test required for 3rd Party Laboratory (Soil investigation, Concrete
cube strength, Asphalt mix and Bitumen Grading) as per required stated in the
AASHTO specifications.
Manages the Non-Conformance Registers and reports only monthly basis to the
client Identified problem areas and delivered solutions to enhance Quality Control
(QC) and prevent future issues.followed with grout for bridges over water bodies crossing motorway.
Construction of composite pile caps, pier shafts, transoms, I-shape pre-stressed
girders, concrete pads and deck slabs of bridges.
Nondestructive testing of existing bridges, repairing of cracked girders and
transom using car bon fiber reinforced fabric after application of adhesive.
Destructive testing of defected piles by Pile Dynamic Loading Methodology to
determine bearing capacity of pile, SIT and Cross Sonic Logging (CSL) method to
determine the structural integrity and homogeneity of the concrete pile.
Installation of bridge expansion joints EJN-160 by using rapid hardening concrete
using accelerators.
Established a library of all requirements for ease of reference.
Prepared and maintained detailed technical tracking schedules.
Identified compliant materials both locally and internationally.
Project Name: Lahore Ring Road Project SL (1&2) Pakistan (PKR 24.4 billion)
Job Duties:
Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) installation using GeoStrap® geosynthetic
reinforcing strips, geo textile, soil reinforcement connections and lightweight
selected fill possessing highest internal friction.
Preparation of water bound macadam, road base, subbase, subgrade works and
managing daily borrow pit excavation & maintaining dumping progress of road
material for soil embankment works.
Ensured compliance with specifications of all materials and legal requirements.
Coordinated and oversaw all onsite material testing, ensuring correct specification
and codes.
Developed an understanding of specifications and client requirements to facilitate
research, design, and development of materials and working practices.
Supervision of concrete expansion (NB-50), contraction and construction joints and
their treatment with approved materials & methodology.
Construction of Wet Bored piling, pier shafts, transoms and deck slabs of bridges and
prestressed girders casting and launching.
