•Overall operation and supervision of Laundry Department.
•Monitor laundry production and ensure linen distribution level meet the hotel requirementent.

As a Laundry Manager manages the daily operations of a laundry services department. Assigns and reviews the work of laundry employees engaged in receiving, washing, ironing, packaging and delivering laundry to various departments or guests
Monitor washing formulas and use of washing chemicals in order to maintain whiteness and brightness of linen.
•Ensure that the linen is returned to user departments free of stains and unpleasant odors.
•Maintain records of wash rejects and in case of excessive reject rates, improves washing formulas accordingly.
Check constantly laundry equipment’s to ensure that machines are kept clean, properly maintained and in efficient operating condition.
•Schedule working time in a way to optimize production, utilization of equipment as well as utilization of water and energy.
•Assist Purchasing and Housekeeping department in analysis and selection of new linens and uniforms.
•Prepare laundry test wash report to check the fabric quality prior to purchase.
•Prepare the laundry revenue and expenses budget.
•Prepare a monthly laundry production report.
Conduct such functions as interviewing, hiring, performance appraisal, counseling and dismissal if necessary to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity.
•Establish and maintains effective relations with team and management.
•Identify training needs, develops formal training plans and carries out on job training sessions.
•Perform related duties such as Duty Manager and special projects as assigned by the General Manager.
As a Laundry Manager, Prepare and check for Commissioning of equipment, prepare the list of required FF&E and complete OS&E and finalized for purchase order.
•Recruitment of the staff, Prepare and held Pre-Opening Training sessions, and build a great team.
•Ensures all customers are provided prompt, efficient and accurate service as per international standards to achieve high level of guest satisfaction.
•Inspects guest laundry, dry cleaning and press work on a daily basis, to ensure optimum quality of work prompt pick-up and on time delivery of garments.
•Develops and implements standard operating procedure, production and quality standard
•Ensures that type of laundry chemicals used is in line with local environmental recommendations.
•Maintain all laundry equipment, replacement & order new to running smooth operation.
•Takes full responsibility of hygiene cleanliness and maintenance of machines and work premises to ensure safety and higher productivity.
•On an annual basis reviews prices for Guest Laundry and Dry Cleaning/Pressing to ensure that they are competitive with those of key hotels competitors.
•Preparing the departmental budget and goals programmed and coordinate with Executive Housekeeper for the annual budget.
•Identifies and develops leadership qualities among the team in order to guide them towards the path of career advancement.
•Resolves all guest complaints through close Supervision, recommends improvement in operation especially in the following aspects of developing better service standard, reduction of coast.
•Ensures that quality control for room and F&B linen is maintained, the linen is clean, free of stains and pressed correctly

it is my duty to help the laundry manager oversee and direct the day-to-day operation of the laundry department and maintain the overall efficiency.
•Supervise the daily activities of the Housekeeping/ Laundry staff. Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective duties. Monitor performance, conduct retraining as needed, and make recommendations for disciplinary and other human resources related actions. Alert management of potential serious issues.
• Inspect the work of the attendants to ensure that appropriate chemicals are being used and the laundry areas are clean and in compliance with applicable regulation. Ensure that equipment is prepared and operational for the following days of work.
• Document all guest requests for laundry services and assign to respective staff members for completion. Follow up on guest satisfaction as needed. Inspect guest laundry and linen and prepare for delivery.
• Respond to guest complaints, special request and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

Handling guest Laundry, taking an order, pick up of Laundry, Marking, Sorting, Washing, Packing and delivers to the Guest rooms.

•Assigns schedules and duties to laundry staff.
•Attends and participates in in-service education classes, on-the-job training programs, etc. 6
•Sets up par level of linens for units and assures proper amounts are sent to nursing units. Recommends equipment, linen and chemical purchasing needs to Department Head in budget preparation. Schedules preventative maintenance of laundry equipment.
•Participates in the interdisciplinary approaches established or episodic interventions for residents needing such programs.
•Assists in the recruitment and selection of laundry personnel and assists in determining staffing requirements necessary to meet the Laundry Department's needs and assures that sufficient laundry personnel are on duty each day. 9
•Trains, monitors and evaluates all laundry staff, volunteers, and service workers. Recommends discipline and implements appropriate procedures with approval of Department Head. 10
•Makes rounds and inspections to assure that laundry personnel are performing required duties, appropriate laundry procedures are being rendered, and quality control measures are continually maintained.
•Also performs all duties of Linen Service Workers.
•Serves on various committees of the facility such as Quality Assurance Sub-Committee.
