Supervises and coordinate activities of assigned shift including shift fire supervision, emergency medical services, assigning work activities and monitoring assigned work
•Supervision of maintenance of firefighting equipment as per NFPA.
•Schedules personnel for assigned shift to ensure proper coverage and manpower, scheduling vacations and other leaves for staff, preparation of timesheets for all shift personnel. Taking management responsibility for all services, operations and activities of assigned shift.
•Participation in the development and implementation of goals, objectives and priorities for assigned shift, give recommendations and administer changes in Fire Section policies and procedures. Coordinate with other management staff to maintain, revise and improve the overall operations of the section.
•Inspection and testing of new foam skid system before commissioning with M/S Tyco. Provided for the flouting roof tanks of light products for rim seal fire.
•Monitoring and inspection of fixed detection system and suppression system provide for switch gear room, turbine chambers, exhaust room, gas turbines etc.
•Monitoring and testing of smoke, heat, flame and UV/IR detectors.
•Monitoring of employee’s performance objectives; works with shift staff to correct deficiencies and implements discipline procedures.
•Continuously monitoring and evaluation of efficiency and effectiveness of work procedures related to section with an aim to identify opportunities for improvement
•Participation in the preparation of the Fire Section budget to ensure that budget is available for procurement of fire equipment and follow up till the equipment available for use.
•Preparation of weekly and monthly reports, correspondences regarding fire incident or other emergency incident on assigned shifts for management
•Responding to alarms as required by Fire Section Policy; acts as Fire Commander and performs at the Hazmat “Operations Level” at the scene of emergencies as necessary.
•Development, supervision and implementation of comprehensive fire prevention, pre-fire planning and inspection programs.
•Assist management in the development and implementation procedural methods and practices for reviewing plans, conducting inspections and investigating fire incidents.
•Perform inspection of company facilities and building to detect fire hazards and conditions; prepare reports and recommendations concerning violations and unsafe conditions.
•Investigate fire incidents of unknown or questionable origin as required; determines the origin, cause and loss value of fire incident, and collects evidence as required.
•Arrange and conducted montly fire and rescue drills. And
•Arrange mutual aid fire drills of ADNOC group of companies in the remote industrial area.
•Having a vast experience to Lead the fire crew to fight, control and extinguished different types of small and large fire. Especially at hydrocarbon plants substation, furnace burner fires and storage area.
Pak Arab Refinery (PARCO
PARCO) a joint venture of Pakistan and Abu Dhabi in Qasba Gujrat Distt. Muzaffargarh.
•Took part in pre-commissioning, commissioning and master startup activities of process plants and provided the fire and safety coverage of more or less 1500 workers in a working day of 12 hours shift throughout 90 days during the year 2000.
•Commissioned, tested and approved 03 fire tenders for PARCO fire station in which one was provided by the National Foam USA and other two by Local vender M/S Haseen Habib trading co.
•Commissioned the Loop type Fire Water network of 24 Km fire water line comprised with 02 Electric motor driven and 02 Diesel driven fire water pumps of 1136 m3/h capacity each, with 200 Nos. fire hydrants, 94 fire monitors, 35 Nos. Deluge Valves, Water Sprinkler Systems provided at light products tanks (i.e. Gasoline, Light Naphtha and Heavy Naphtha), and Flammable gas compressors.
•State of the art (Local monitoring system) now upgraded as MM 8000 (during the year 2008) provided in fire control room which is a software based program that displays alarm/faults/warnings/exclusion generated by (H2S detectors, Cl2 detector, Hydrocarbon detectors, heat and smoke detectors, flame detectors, MAC points, deluge valves and fire water pumps) through 17 Nos. Fire Alarm panels installed in sub stations, control room and office buildings.
•FM 200 systems provided in sub stations, LAN WAN room, Main DCS control room.
•Open Path infra-red hydrocarbon detectors in process area.
•Flame detectors at light product pumps, tanks and LPG spheres
•Toxic gas (i.e. H2S and Cl2) detectors.

•Monthly safety audit of process plants, control rooms, admin building and report writing.
•Conducted the fire drill for training purposes of fire staff, technical staff and non-technical staff individually on weekly basis
