Leading a team of Process Engineers in accomplishing the scope of the projects that mainly consists of developing operating manuals & procedures for major Oil & Gas facilities of Middle East.
Working on ADNOC (Offshore) project. The project involves the reviewing, preparation and upgradation of operating procedure and manuals on Das Island facilities.
Currently working as Senior Engineer, Operation & Technical Services at CDU plant.
• Prepared daily, monthly and yearly basis of material balance compare it with different crude blends.
• Planning and monitoring of annual turn around activities.
• Analyzing & monitoring the behavior of Plant equipment’s (Exchanger, pumps, drum etc., using process data sheet) and providing a remedial solution.
• Heat Exchanger Sizing and Rating (Using Aspen Hysys, HTRI, MS Excel) Calculating FT correction factor of feed train heat exchanger and monitor it on monthly basis.
• Energy balance and Simulation of Crude Distillation Refinery process in Aspen Hysys, Calculating Heat Load of Furnaces, Columns, and Heat Exchanger, compare it with manually calculations.
• Identify Optimization Operation in Plant, Improvement in water management system, proposal of RO plant and optimization in water circuit.
• Line sizing and PSV sizing at new compressor on LPG line (Using Aspen Hysys).
• Investigate root cause analysis of incident and near misses.
• Review and developed P&ID, PFD and Plant modification.
• HAZOP study for modification and improvement in plant.
1. As Operation Process engineer, i have to look after the process and production of refining the crude, handle the trouble shooting, control the product specs and manage shift activities.
2. Working on water management and its optimization.

2. Mass balance & preparing shift production report.
3. Maintaining process specification (through PLC), quality parameters, Troubleshooting & corrective action wherever required.
4. To maintain the constant production to achieve the monthly target effectively.
5. Calibration of Oil tanks.
6. Inventory & manpower management.
7. Pressure, vacuum and hydro testing of different units.
8. Identifying improvement in P&ID of CPO plant.
1. Water management and pre-feasibility for installation of reverse osmosis plant.
2. Design & upgrading P&ID of cooling tower and refinery using Auto CAD.
3. Energy economics: Conversion of fuel from furnace oil to coal, LPG, rice husk, steam management and upgrading of recovery system.
4. Design layout of process units of edible oil refinery units and storage tanks using CAD.
5. Risk assessment of process units of edible oil refinery and calculate their HRN (Hazard Rating Number).
1. Steam condensate; polish water balance and area improvement.
2. How to control TDS in waste water treatment unit.
Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from University of Karachi in 2011.
