* Establish, implement, control, monitor and improve Health, Safety and Environment
aspects of the Company’s activities in the workshops and its project sites.
* Ensuring that Health, Safety and Environment programs, rules, regulations, policies and
procedures are implemented and followed by all employees.
* Develop and implement HSE Programs for various specialized activities.
* Training and continuous improvement of health and Safety awareness among
employees, in line with latest principles and techniques with regard to Health, Safety
and Environment.
* Constant monitoring of facility (or Project site as and when required) to ensure Safety
rules and regulations, policies and procedures are strictly implemented and followed.
* Reporting any violation and enforcing disciplinary / corrective actions.
* Provide professional and technical consultation / orientation to concerned staff in the
areas of Loss Prevention, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Engineering, Process Safety,
and Risk Management.
* Advises management of its Safety Obligations.
* Researches regulations and stay current on them as they apply to the company.
* Directs and coordinates investigation activities of all incidents (injury, illness, near miss,
accidents) and maintains records.

* Trains, develops, monitors and supervises progress of the Safety and Loss Prevention
Programs and maintains records.
* Directs the development and implementation of training for the employees (and
contractors as required) to increase the general awareness in the area of Health, Safety
and Environment. Activities include determining the scope of the training, preparation
of seminars, obtaining visual aids, manual and related materials.
* Participates in Safety Audits and Safety Reviews conducted by Regulatory Agency or
concerned Government Department. Makes appropriate recommendations for
corrective actions.
* Reviews proposed modifications or construction of new facilities to identify
Occupational Safety, Process Safety, Fire Protection Requirements, Industrial Hygiene
and loss Control Impact.
* Prepares / orders Safety equipment (PPE, Fire Equipment, etc.) and ensures that these
are properly used and maintained.
* Prepares all required Safety Sign Boards / Placards, Warning Signs, etc., for project sites.
Maintain Safety Bulletin boards on project sites.
* Prepares / conducts Performance Evaluation of his subordinates.
