Presently working as HSE Manager for the facilities upgrading of an Oil & Gas Sea Port project, Saudi Arabia since Nov. 2017.
Major Accomplishments as an HSE Manager:
- Ensuring the effective implementation of HSE Management procedures, client HSE requirement throughout the project.
- Developing, Training, Implementing & Maintaining the Health, Safety & Environmental Management systems.
- Liaise with the Government Departments and client in controlling the permit to work system.
- Attending weekly client progress and safety meeting along with project manager and project team in regards to site related safety issues.
- Organizing Safety committee meeting with project team and committee member to discuss site safety issue NCR and close out all NCR immediately.
- Promotion of a health and safety culture through the organization.
- Ensure and monitor the regular tool box talk on weekly basis and safety orientation sessions for new employees.
- Ensure and monitor the training program for workers, foreman, and engineers to awareness in regards to hazards associated at work and injury prevention.
- Ensure that the Company’s Health and Safety policies and procedures are communicated to the employees.
- Carrying out safety inspections with client & consultant.
- Monitoring all safety issues on site, to prevent and stop dangerous work practices.
- Periodic checking of all firefighting equipments & conducting mock firefighting drills.
- Ensuring the organization is aware of statutory obligations and recommended Codes of Practice.
- Advising project management to arrange all necessary welfare facility for workers at site and storage area.
- Interpreting and keeping management and employees informed of new and developing legislation and other standards.
- Advising management of their responsibilities for accident prevention and avoidance of health hazards.
- Advising, through line management and supervisors, where improvements in health and safety standards or practices are appropriate.
- Advising on possible hazards when considering the introduction of new machinery, new materials, new processes, or changes in existing ones.
- Ensuring for the provision of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) based on risk assessment.
- Maintenance of statutory safety records and making statutory safety returns, as well as maintaining health and safety records required by the organization.
- Overseeing and reviewing all accident investigations and preparing statistics to assist in monitoring health and safety performance.
Worked as a HSE Manager (Saudi ARAMCO Approved) with Al Ajmi contg. Co of KSA executing the infrastructure development project in Jazan Economic City, JAZAN.
Worked as an HSE Manager for the construction of a high rise building project of M/S EMAAR Middle East “3 Residential Towers” in old airport area Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Worked as a Senior Safety Officer at Harmain High speed rail project (Worth of 6.95 Billion SR) at MAKKAH to MADINAH sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from June, 2010 to March, 2013.
1 Year worked as a Senior Safety Officer & handled 46 Industrial steel construction projects in Dolphin group of companies in Dubai from June 2009 to April, 2010.
5 years worked as Project Safety Officer with Al Sahel Contg. Co. LLC Dubai, UAE at its multiple projects, wide spreaded and high rise building projects as well.
