I worked along with a senior brand manager on Aprovel, an anti-hypertensive. My responsibilities included finalizing the plan regarding the reduction in pricing of the brand and the execution of the marketing activities as planned while adhering to the strict deadlines. Apart from this, also worked on few different things related to the brand such as working on sales figures and track-o-meter etc.

During the course of my internship at Nielsen, i worked on two different projects. The first project was a doctor's study conducted by Nielsen on behalf of Sanofi, a leading pharmaceutical company. It basically included analyzing the data and interpreting the results into a formal report and presentation. The second project was a brand health tracking study of English Biscuits Manufacturers (EBM) and it included providing them with an overview of all the biscuits categories and integrating consumers insights along with retail measurement system data.

As a sales intern, i worked on couple of strategic projects at the organization. First one was an on-going project which included the market study of compressed nitrogen gas. It highlighted important findings as to the areas where competition is increasing and sales are decreasing and the reasons to decrease in market share. Second project was a research conducted about the prospects of fumigants in the export industry. It basically included workings on the feasibility about the product whether it should be launched in the Pakistani market or not.
