Working as Switching Electrical Engineer (upto 33 KV)(Senior Authorized Person) in KAHRAMAA through Qatar Power Construction W.L.L. (consultants)

Roles and Responsibilities:

 Familiar with the KAHRAMAA electricity distribution network and Equipment/Switch gear, Maintenance policy and Procedure of the substations, Overhead line, Underground MV and LV Cables
 Preparing switching program for required task and executing the isolation/restoration required for circuit/ equipment according to switching program with the consent of Distribution control engineer (DCC) and issuing safety documents to competent persons. Restoring all supply after completion of program.
 Reporting all types of system abnormalities and filling up all required site forms of substations, transformers, switchgears and Feeder Pillars, MV panels. And keeping records of data form reference, management information and analysis purpose.
 Supervising all activities related to commissioning of new MV cable/ Replacement of MV cables/ Substation equipment/ Switchgears in order to adherence to guidelines and procedures. And also providing inputs on technical issues such as change in Transformers, FP, RMU, VCB Panels, TX & FD Switches etc.
