Working in Etisalat Data Centers i.e., West Exchange & Mafraq Exchange from May 2016 till Date.
Efficiently maintaining stand-alone Data Center Telecommunications facility, managing all electrical, mechanical, HVAC, power generation, fire pre-action, security, chiller / cooling, UPS, generator, battery, BMS, and rectifier systems. Maintaining 24/7 operations and equipment maintenance. Updating load schedule and equipment database on daily bases. Responding to various infrastructure alarms.
Key Responsibilities/Achievements
• Supervision of the Installation, Testing, Commissioning, and handing over the complete electrical service installation of (Electrical DB’s, UPS, DC Plant, Diesel Generators) in accordance with contract preliminaries conditions and as described in general technical preliminary specifications, execution work package.
• Implemented Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) based on Maximo, PM for the plant to enhance the plant reliability, and to reduce Inventory and cost of down time.
• Preparing daily checklist and load schedule related to all electrical, fire and cooling system of Data center & Exchanges.
• Regularly carry out predictive maintenance for Electrical DB’s, CB’s & Fuses using thermal imager
• Implemented Health & Safety directives, in line with international standards.
• Submitting daily reports about Site Snags and Testing of installed equipment and information gathering, and co-ordination for the tasks required on the project.
• Holding meetings with equipment owners to discuss scheduling, safety and other technical concerns and plan in accordance with the project completion requirements.
• Maintained 100% outage-free operations and implemented high-quality backup power systems.
• Coordinating with supplier/manufacturer for scheduling the delivery of the required materials as per the project completion date (ECD).
• Electrical designing with AutoCAD, review and verifying drawings and evaluating technical submittals and shop drawings.
• Supervision of installation of Underground & overhead cabling, Capacitor Bank, LV Panel, Earthing System, Fire Protection, HVAC Cooling system.
