MAJOR WORKING AREA:
 Having overall responsibility for project scheduling, project management and engineering functions which included preparation and updating of schedules, monitoring progress and arriving at important conclusions for the Project Manager and later convert these into executive decisions. Ensured effective maintenance of detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) schedule using Critical path method (CPM).
 Preparation of FEED / EPIC Project Schedule, Engineering Document Register, Master Document Register etc as part of FEED deliverables and finalization with all stakeholders’ comments & concerns.
 Progress monitoring and control of projects, delay analysis, variance analysis, trend analysis, progress verification, and progress reporting. Final Invoicing, change order/WCR, variation and claims analysis / EOT claims evaluation.
 To support Project Manager and Construction Team on project control issues mainly planning, scheduling, estimating, preparation of level 3 & 4 schedule and then further breakup it into one month look ahead schedule, monthly target schedule and weekly schedule in primavera as per contract time frame, preparation of the WBS in primavera for monitoring of projects in terms of cost & time, Cash Flow, Invoicing & Payment follow-up.
 Developing High level EPIC Schedule based on the approved Schedule. Feed Primavera Risk Analysis with Three-point duration estimate (Minimum, most likely & maximum) for each activity. Feed Primavera Risk Analysis with Risk Register (Qualitative, Quantitative, Pre-mitigated & post-mitigated).
 Preparation of EOT supporting with Primavera P6 delay analysis/events & using multiple methods e.g. (As-Planned vs As-Built, Impacted As-Planned, Time Impact Analysis, Window Analysis)
 Development of resource-loaded plan in Primavera, planning and control procedure, development of planning and progress measurement instructions for tender documents (Appendix D & G/H), development of estimation of Value of Work Done (VOWD).
 Preparation and leading EPIC, EPCC schedule & workshop supporting with execution strategy and productivity basis.

LEAD ENGINEER - EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE/TURNAROUNDS PLANNING
 Major Working Areas: Static and Mechanical Package equipment’s, Primary Reformer/ Furnace Tubes/ Bend (Short Radius) replacement, pig tails, inlet / outlet header replacement (Material Micro alloy 2535Nb, 2032Nb, SS321, P22, 304H), Refractory Repair (Storage Tanks fabrication and major repair work (Ammonia Storage, Urea Solution Storage, DM water, Catacarb Storage Tanks etc), Refractory repair/replacement work (Castable, Firebrick Insulating bricks MK-23, MK-26, Mineral Fiber Blocks, Cerafelt, Plicast Petrolite 39, 40TR & etc), Heat Exchanger (Shell & Tube, Plate Type, Fin Fan) repair maintenance & retubing, tube ferruling, Heaters/Incinator Refractory Work, Catalyst Loading/Unloading, Heaters Convection Zone Cleaning Work, Flare Assemblies (Dismantling, Welding/Repair, Installation), Vessel Fabrication, Fabrication and Installation of Exhaust Stack Repair. Fabrication of Column Trays, Removal and Installation of Column Packing, Chemical cleaning of Heat Exchangers & AFCs Bundle by Sodium Bicarbonate, Replacement & repairs of thermocouples of Thermocouples of Heaters & Reactors. Drums, Tanks, Sludge removal, replacement and fabrication and installation of static equipment.
 Lead role in annual turnarounds Participated in Preparation & execution of annual turnarounds (Procurement of local and offshore critical spares) and major jobs e.g., equipment internal repair/replacement as per OEM recommendations.
 Implemented effective preventive maintenance strategy to ensure smooth operation of Ammonia, Urea & Utilities units

LEAD PLANNING ENGINEER
 Studied Project Contract and Scope of work, engaged project stakeholders to develop resource loaded Project Master Critical Path Method (CPM) and get approval from PARCO Refinery.
 Ensured effective maintenance of detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) schedule using Critical path method (CPM).
 Developed Progress Measurement System (PMS) and quantifying the Project commodities to evaluate the productivity and forecast the project milestones completion
 Organized project progress review meetings for evaluating project progress & de-bottlenecking
 Facilitated in technical evaluation of sub-contractors relative to their expertise in planning and scheduling and analyse in detail performance related to planning, reporting methods, and forecasting

SR ENGINEER PLANNING
 Prepared and controlled Budget Estimates for Capital Expenditure Projects, Appropriation Requests for the corporate head office with detailed justifications and conceptual design.
 Design & Engineering Reviews from conceptual to commissioning (P & IDs, Civil, Mechanical, Instrumentation & Electrical, material specifications). Managing design contractor activities during the development of project proposal, include definition of project work scope and schedule requirements
 Development and seek approval of Project Execution Plan (PEP) including Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Contracting plan and strategy. Identification of Risks/ Opportunities to project from kick-off to commissioning and preparation and implementation of Avoidance/ Mitigation strategies
 Co-ordinated with the client for the queries and technical issues to avoid any delay in project completion and provided assistance to project manager, maintenance team leader and supervisor on critical issues as per requirement.
 Execution of projects in filed and coordinated with client and designer for incorporation of on site modifications in as build drawings

PLANNING ENGINEER
 Planning: Undertook initiation, Planning, Scheduling, Execution, Monitoring & Close out of Turnaround & Major Equipment (Static, Rotary, E&I) Shutdown.
 Monitoring: Manage, control, and schedule the integrated master schedule to meet stakeholder objectives, project milestones, quality, and budget requirements using computerized techniques (Oracle Primavera P6 & MS Project)
 Communication: Effectively coordinated with all departments / stakeholders to ensure alignment execution with the organizational processes and goals through the strategic management of the integrated master schedule.
 Logistics: Ensured availability and quality of equipment. Secured manpower and liaised on the accommodation, food and transportation of outsourced personnel and OEM. Mobilizes/ demobilizes resources and equipment.
 Personnel Management: Ensured the availability of qualified manpower and quality of work performed. Fostered liaison with maintenance, procurement (SCF), and construction departments to manage and pre-plan submissions, execution schedules and resolves conflicts.
 Plant Shutdown & Start-up: Adeptly completed comprehensive shutdown plans with scheduling of pre-shutdown preparations and shutdown milestones; avoids duplication of activities and aims at the optimal use of resources.
 TA Review Meetings: Conducted scope review and schedule quality review meetings with the stakeholders. Analysed Turnaround critical & near critical path tasks, delay events and developed mitigation, recovery, or revise plans.
 Reporting: Keep track of all PTW’s, Method Statements, ITP’s, Rigging Plans, Isolation Plans, Rescue Plans, JSA’s, Risk Assessment Activities, and Risk Mitigation Plans are prepared and approved. Authored, compiled and communicated MOMs and derived action items.
 Continuous Improvement: Participated in post Turnaround / shutdown critique sessions, contractor evaluations, and completed the Post- Shutdown Report with key recommendations.
