To review & respond to material submittal, shop drawings, Pre-Qualification, O&M Manuals, design related calculations and alternate proposals prepared by contractor to ensure compliance with contract documents and authorities’ requirements (ESTIDAMA, DM, ADM, DCD, ADCD, NFPA, ASHRAE etc.).
Monitor site progress and review look ahead program to ensure program dates are met.
Guide inspectors team and assist them technically on systems and disputes at site.
Monitoring out the project objectives and plans, setting performance requirements, and selecting project participants.
Prepare weekly meeting minutes.
Attends progress review meetings and coordination meetings to resolve any site issues such as discrepancies in project’s drawings.
Prepare all kind of work related reports and send recommendation on the design modifications if any in the projects.
Review and verify claims and monthly payment raised by contractor.
Interact with clients to define tasks to be performed.
Respond to RFI’s and other queries regarding project raised by contractor.
Arranging training for client staff for future operation and maintenance.
Serves as a role model who promotes professional behavior.
Preparing all kind of reports related to project status, work plans etc. and get approved Shop Drawings, MEP Coordination Drawings, Work method statement and Project Specification from Project Engineer.
Coordinate with other discipline and ensure site clearance is available to start the MEP Activities.
Coordinating with vendors for the selection of equipment like Chiller, BCUs, FAHUs, FCUs, CHW Pumps, FF Pumps, Plumbing Pumps and all kind of Fans in accordance with the project design and specification.
Performing all kind of calculations like ESP, Smoke Control, Ventilation, Extract Air, Heat Load, Pump head, Pressurization Unit, Cooling Tower etc.
Sizing & selection of Air terminal devices: Grilles, Diffusers, Louvers, etc. as per Design and project
specification.
To arrange the sufficient manpower and ensure all of them attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior start installation activities at site.
Prior to start MEP activities notify to QC Personal for surveillance to ensure the quality work.
Closely monitor site activities to ensure quality of work in compliance with approved shop drawing and specification and get daily progress report from site supervisor/foreman and update to Company Managers.
Preparing relevant documents to conduct inspection for completed installation activities.
Carry out all planned site inspections as per the intervention points marked in the relevant drawing and standard.
Preparing the relevant documents to Conduct Testing inspection such as Duct light testing for Ducts and Hydro test for all kind of above ground and underground piping systems.
Active involvement in weekly meetings with the Project management & QC Supervisor and manager to resolve the site related issues.
Bringing about optimum utilization of resources- labor, materials, and equipment, and ensuring their
procurement at most cost-effective terms.
Assist the Commissioning Team in Pre-commissioning & Commissioning stages of all Mechanical Equipment.
Assist the Commissioning Team on Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB) stages of the Air and Hydronic Piping
Assist project manager.
Prepare RFI’s, BOQ’s and sending procurement inquires.
To checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly.
Setting out sites and organizing facilities.
To arrange the sufficient manpower and ensure all of them attended safety orientation and having proper PPE’s prior start installation activities at site.
Ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales.
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager.
Carry out all planned site inspections.
Providing technical advice and solving problems on site.
Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and negotiating the price of materials
Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are strictly followed during work.
Ensure all clarifications changes directives and RFIs are updated on the as-built drawings and are fully coordinated with company supervision all subcontractor/suppliers.
