-Experience of successfully managing & executing the projects as a project lead including engineering, design, installation, testing & commissioning of power generation plants & HV grid stations (500kv, 380kv, 220kv, 110kv) and testing of all control and electrical power system equipment, all types of numerical protection relays, understanding of all electrical schemes (control & protection). Hands on experience on testing of substation schemes (breaker and a half, double bus bar), testing of HV equipment (SF6 breakers, CTs, PTs etc.). Well aware of all interlocking schemes of power plants and HV grid stations. Sound knowledge of all electrical safety requirements as per NFPA 70E standards.
- Received General Electric (GE) GLOBAL EXPERTISE Award in 1Q 2010 and an IMPACT AWARD in 3Q 2010 for Leadership, Technical Expertise & outstanding performance for testing & commissioning and being instrumental in leading the project Team for Testing & Commissioning of HV Grid Station.
- Working as a Project Lead Engineer for Testing & Commissioning of 380/110kV Grid Station including Testing Numerical protection relays.
- Having experience of making project proposals, calculation of Man-hours, making work scope, project execution plans/schedule and in depth experience of making remarks/comments/exclusions as a part of project proposal.
- Experience on Preparation of all required Reports, complete Scheduling of Sub-Station Projects, Fortnightly Programmes, Follow up documentation and Correspondence of the Project Progress certification in Contractual & Technical matters.
- Development of complete technical packages for Substation Automation. protective relaying and communications systems,
including AC one-line and three-line diagrams, DC schematics, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, interconnection
diagrams, relaying equipment specifications and bill of materials.
- Review drawings and other technical documentation for conformance to specifications.
- Prepare Proposals with commercial team and provide costing and table of compliance along with the technical write-up for the
proposal
- Support Sales team in technical presentation and technical negotiations with the customer
- Having experience of Commissioning Electrical Sub-Station Projects as a Site Manager/ Team Leader (perform all Testing & Commissioning activities) and also having experience of Testing of Numerical Protection Relays
