Perform inspections on regular basis to follow-up on work progress of all electrical technicians ensuring that work progress is carried out as per approved work schedule and appropriate resources are allocated while highlighting any non-conformances to the Electrical Engineer to ensure prompt action.

Participate in the investigation and specification of modifications to existing systems; assist the Electrical Engineer in the preparation of preliminary submissions including technical specifications and materials for modifications together with accompanying drawings, process diagrams and cost estimates.

Outage Management
Coordinate the planning and execution of the annual outage maintenance of critical electrical equipment, as per the recommendation of the OEM, and provide technical support to ensure the EHS, scope, cost, and timeline objectives are met.

Documentation
Ensure that all maintenance documentation for the electrical activities are completed correctly including the Maintenance Log, outlining the fault, method of repair and the time, labour and materials used to support timely availability of information.

Health, Safety, Security & Environment
Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety, security and environmental procedures, instructions and controls so that the safety of employees and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

I am involving Energization, De-Energization of Power Transformers, HV/MV/LV, 230 kV Transmission lines Electrical system and also attend the start-up and shut down activities in 230/33/13.8/4.16 kV substations. I have involved first electrical Energization and emergency troubleshooting UPS, Battery charger and switchgear breakers substation also I have witness the activities for testing of electrical equipment like Switchgear Testing, Relay Testing, Cable Hi-Pot, Bus-bar Hi-pot & ATS Scheme etc.

• Responsible for the continuous flow of power supply within area.
• Responsible for switching activities to maintain power configuration in area.
• Isolation 132 kV lines with synchronization and 33, 13.8 KV distribution breakers.
• Check the maximum load 132kv lines and 33, 13.8 KV distribution breakers.
• Issues and complete work permits, complies with clearance and hold tag procedures.
• I have knowledge about CT, s, VT, s and HV switchgear in substation.
• Check the T/F regarding oil temperature, cooling temperature and check slicagel.
• Check transformers and station condition/operation and records in log.
• Check all parameters in substation (MW, MVAR, KV, AMP)
• In case of total blackout substation do normalized.
• Check all emergency lights in substation.
• Reports completed work for proper operation and request verification.
• Inspects relay panel for flag conditions and check/read meters.
• Energized emergency trip transformers.
• Check the pressure SF6 breakers.
• Check the all kind of alarms gas insulated switchgear (GIS) rooms
• Check all abnormality Emergency Diesel Genrator( EDG)

• Short term/Long term Load forecasting and power planning.
• Monitoring the system voltages, Frequency and loading of Transmission lines and Transformers to ensure safe and reliable operation as per technical limits.
• To handle network activities during normal operation and contingencies.
• To handle system abnormalities like tripping of transmission lines and Transformers and restoration of power during shut downs/Blackouts.
• To arrange Emergent /Routine Shut down of network equipments.
• Prompt decision when load deviate from forecast.
• Logging and recording of all events related to system operations from
Time to time.
• Preparation of various reports regarding operations and provide network information’s to all concern.
• Energization 132 kV Transmission Lines with synchronization and Transformers of different rating with the networks.
