1. Supervise the daily plant operation of 40, 000 m3/day Sea Water Desalination Plant and 10, 000 m3/day Sewage Treatment Plant.
2. Ensuring the plant is operated safely, efficiently and in compliance with the relevant project documents such as the KAUST Service Level agreement.
3. Responsible for the plant’s continuous operation activities. Ensuring the water quality and plant availability are controlled and operated to agreed performance targets. The day to day Management of all operation staff.
The Operations Major key account-abilities encompass;
1. Maintain Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality Management.
2. Governance:Compliance with all relevant applicable laws as per KAUST policy.
3. Human Resources: Implementing the performance management system.Providing Management and direction to the Operations Team.
4.Production:Oversee the management of operations to ensure the plant meets all requirements.
-Lead the plant operation instructions and production procedures.
-Ensure that the treated water and by-products (sludge and waste) are monitored.
-Control the work of supplier’s onsite and ensure their work meets all requirements and standards of work.
-Drive and facilitate an effective involvement of plant personnel in the maintenance and development of the Quality Assurance System.
-Lead the Production Team to ensure maintenance is coordinated with production. -Initiating and implementing all first level preventative maintenance programs involving the operations team as required
-Ensuring agreed spare parts are controlled and available when required and raw material availability.
5. Finance:
-Control the production budget requirements are maintained in preparation of operational expenditure budgets.
Outcome, Results and Key Performance Indicators:
-Plant Load Factor, Efficiency and Availability as operation plan.
-Plant availability and efficiency.
Responsible for ensuring that the Whole Water Treatment Plant operates in the safest and most cost- effective manner.
Participating at a senior level in the management of plant operations.
Direct oversight of 12, 000 m3 /day CSD Water Treatment Plant (97% Recovery) including Ultra filtration, Lead & Leg designed Activated Carbons Filter
and 3 storage reservoirs of Raw water 7, 500 m3.
Direct oversight of 2200 m3 /day Aqua Fina Drinking Water Treatment Plant.
Direct oversight of 2, 500 m3 /day IWWTPPlant with Bio Gas formation through EGSBR Technology followed
by MBR and R.O Plant to produce the Treated water quality for Recycling.
Manage the whole Operation of WTP - WWTP Plant in world largest Beverages Production facility that includes maximizing plant up time, monitoring
incoming and outgoing water quality and quantity of water produced.
Lead Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering and Materials for the Mega facility.
Develop a strong and effective Operation team. .
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through
the application of lean manufacturing, appropriate tools
and techniques.
Making decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and procurement.
Bench marking best practices and driving the use of such methods across responsible Carrying out regular health and safety inspections.
• Provide the technical services support to customer in order to resolve the operational and water quality challenges on water treatment plants .
• Prepare and provide the treatment solution's to resolve the Water treatment challenges in the following below sector through Metito product's/application's
• Reverse Osmosis Treatment Plant. (Brackish & Sea Water Desalination)
• District Cooling System ( Open Loop)
• Chilled Water System ( Semi Open / Closed Loop )
• Boiler ( Low, medium and High Pressure Boiler ) .
• Waste Water Treatment plants ( Sewage & Industrial WWTP
Plants).
• Estimated expected changes in business operations and made proactive adjustments to employee schedule and inventory level to adress needs.
• Used technical expertise, customer service skills and
analytical nature to resolve customer concerns and
promote loyalty.
• Directed training and retraining of employees to boost
performance and enhance business results.
• Provide the Technical support to customer and covering the Water treatment operation of company contractual's customer in the field :
• Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant
• Cooling Water Treatment - Open Loop ( Cooling Tower )
• Semi Open / Closed Loop (Chilled Water System)
• Boiler Water Treatment ( Hot Water & Steam )
• Waste Water Treatment Plant ( Sewage & Industrial )
• Doing the Water testing on site and as well in laboratory to
recommend the treatment solution's plan to maintain the
water quality in a system within control Limits .
• Involve in designing and making proposal of new Reverse osmosis water system . ( ROSA Application -DOW Filmtec )
• Traveled to key account locations to train and provide technical direction for successful completion of product launches.
• Maintained effective customer relationships and identified future business opportunities to support and strengthen corporation mission.
• Partnered with client engineering team on product development, offered application support and identified prototype programs and additional design concepts for new business acquisition.
• Worked with customers for needs analysis, proposal development and vendor costs to produce competitive estimates.
Control Plant Operation through DCS & PLC system
Control Process of Esterification, Polymerization,
Utilities Section and having full command to handle
emergency shutdown and startup of Plant.
Operation of HTO boiler.
Ejector system for vacuum in the polymerization section
and recovery section of Ethylene Glycol by Distillation
Process.
Smooth operation of Nitrogen plant to produces pure
Nitrogen.
Operation of centrifugal and gear pump.
