To ensure execution of instrument works and comply fully as per standard and approved drawings.

Procurement and selection of all types of (Pressure, Flow, Level, Temperature, and Rotary Equipment Protection Instrument) field instruments, Fisher and BHDT control valves.
Technical Review of Basic and Detail Engineering Documents from EPC.
Preparation of MTO for Instruments Including, Conduits and fittings(57 items), Cables(signal, temperature, power), JB, s(signal, temperature, power), Instruments piping and fittings(50 items), Air piping and fittings(22 items), (Rota meters, Vortex Meters, Pressure transmitters(different types), differential pressure transmitters (different types), pressure gauges, temperature gauges, orifice pates and Control Valves.

Assign work and issue material to construction contractor instrument supervisor daily according to drawing and specification
Prepare Preventive Maintenance schedule of NHE, UREA, UTILITY PLANT ensuring major maintenance activities during ATA and that all standby units are fully operative. Propose modifications for better performance instruments where required.
Supervise maintenance/ repair work on instrumentation, control and field instruments.
Prepares budget
Review inventories of spare parts and materials to ensure availability.
QA/QC and test new installation(BOQ, Locally prepared spares, spares to be ordered, technical evaluation and finally inspection, modification or repair work performed, ensuring conformity to specifications and instrumentation standards.
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance work including log book, man-hours utilized and spare/consumables used.
Prepare detailed reports on the causes of major breakdowns of instrumentation and control equipment.
Participate in the preparation and development of plans for the maintenance and enhancement of facilities.
Prepare instrument workshop (Fully operative workshop equipment, preparation of calibration setup, locally prepares spares, repair faulty instruments for emergency use, maintain workshop inventory).
