Working as Technical Support Engineer for Overhauling, Re-conditioning, Re-winding and Repair Services for all Electrical Rotating Equipment's including Electric Motors, Diesel Generators at Workshop and Site.
• Controlling NCRs, CCRs, RCFA, CPARs and Instruments Calibration.
• Conduct Engineering, process and estimating work during detailed development of RFQ’s, Bids and Complex Projects.
• Builds and validates Project Cost estimates and Scope of Work with operation and Sales teams.
• Conduct Site inspection and face to face meeting with client based on the project complexity.
• Preparing and Execution of the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) to provide reliable quality services.
• Evaluate the impact of work delays, interruptions or changes in Repair plans to develop proper course of actions.
• Providing technical support to Workshop Supervisor / Site Team Leader to complete the quality work within committed time by following Health and Safety rules.
• Facilitate the training and development of team members by providing feedback and coaching to support improvements in their job performance.
• Maintain communication with top management to report unusual concerns and share new ideas that may contribute to improved Workshop and Site Service operations.
• Inspecting and managing Static and Dynamic Electrical Tests of Motors and/or Generators as per international standards and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Inspection of all the material to be fabricated and repaired by Welding, Grinding, Machining, Skimming, Polishing, fabrication, re-babbitting, sleeving, concentricity and soft foot correction.
• Managing Re-stacking), Re-winding and Testing of stator / rotor and provide technical assistance.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and Ensure the effective coordination with the client related to testing activities, Initial / final inspection reports and daily / weekly job status.
• Conducting Customer Survey annually.
Worked as an Electrical QA/QC Engineer for re-winding and overhaul servicing of Motors and Alternators.
• Controlling calibration of all the instruments and equipment, Non-conformance Reports, Customer Complaints, Root cause Failure Analysis and Corrective & Preventive Actions.
• Performing & inspecting Winding Resistance test, Insulation resistance test, Megger test, Polarization Index test, Surge test, Open stator test, Current balance test, BTD & RTD test, Hi-pot test and Stator & Rotor Core loss test as per international standards at site & workshop and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Preparing the Drawings for each spare part required fabrication and repairing, using CAD.
• Inspection of all the material to be fabricated and repaired i.e., Welding, Grinding, Machining, Skimming, Polishing, fabrication, re-babbitting and re-sleeving.
• Inspection of Re-winding of stator and rotor during critical stages and provide technical assistance.
• Managing Re-staggering (Re-stacking) of stator / rotor and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Inspection of concentricity check and soft foot correction of Motor.
• Conducting final Dynamic (No load run) test as per international standards.
• Ensuring the effective coordination with the client related to inspection and testing activities.
• Execution of initial/final inspection.
• Worked as a Site Service Engineer.
• Manage Day-to-Day aspects of projects and their scope, tracking milestones and deliverables and providing constant and clear communications with internal and external teams.
• Able to prioritize individual workloads according to deadlines.
• Power Work (Installation of Circuit Breaker, DC Box, Fuses and Rectifiers).
• Testing and Commissioning of 2G and 3G BTS.
• Identification of the process and procedures for installations and expansions of New Network Elements.
