Duties and Responsibilities:-
As QC Civil Engineer Independently handled the following matters;
➢ Monitor and verify that the work execution and implementation are as per approved procedures, approved specifications and approved drawings.
➢ Conduct inspections on the items requested for inspection.
➢ Daily login all the observations on the project execution in the logbook.
➢ Conduct inspection of materials at yard store prior to delivery to site.
➢ Conduct inspection of incoming materials up on arrival at site and prepare the inspection reports.
➢ Issue of Non-conformity reports against non-complying conditions.
➢ Review of final inspection reports
➢ Witnessing of grouting of equipment foundations, structures,
➢ Witnessing of concrete pouring for all kind of structures.
➢ Inspection of Road asphalt works, including filling as per procedure, sub grade preparation.
➢ Witness of all laboratory tests related to concrete and grouting.
➢ Performs daily QC inspections and Material Receiving Inspection with Sabic inspectors.
➢ Prepare project quality records in connection with the inspection performed.
➢ Follow up inspection process such as Sub-grade compaction, Pre-pour & Concrete placement inspection, Concrete coating, Backfilling, Pre-cast panel erection, Grouting and all related civil works.
➢ Checking that executions of works are based on the latest revisions of IFC drawings.
➢ Preparing RFI (Request for Inspection), Certifications and Required turn-over documents of the project.
➢ Preparing and Issue of Non-Conformances to materials and works not conforming to or in violation of the required specifications, standards and shop drawings.
➢ Issuing NCR in the event of non conforming work done by contractor reviewed and recommend approval of corrective and preventive actions and monitor site implementations.
