Promoting and supporting Learning and Development function for HR Unit.
Organizing training events, staff wellness activities and all staff meetings.
Promoting Learning and Development activities.
Organization of training events and all-staff meetings.
Lead HR procurement activities for training events and other requirements.
Providing necessary advice/action on the procurement including creation of Purchase Requisition, Purchase Order (PO), Note for Record (NFR), SES and GRN.
Monitoring the procurement budget for HR Unit.
Processing UNLP (UN Passport) application requests for expat and national staff
Maintenance and development of HR section in internal WFP Pakistan online portal (Dashboard).
National Employee Recruitment:
Vacancy Announcement on website, newspapers and other job boards.
Long-listing and monitoring CVs of applicants
In collaboration with hiring manager, finalizing, shortlisting and ensuring the preparation of tests and interviews.
Arranging and conducting interviews.
Producing interview reports and recruitment statistics for Head of HR.
Providing feedback to the candidates.
Key achievements:
Recruitment and contractual management of more than 80 International Consultants in a short span of 3 months Temporary Duty (TDY); while supporting Regional Bureau for Asia, Bangkok, Thailand operations (including supporting Nepal Earth Quake Response, Vanuatu Cyclone Pam Emergency Response and support to other countries within Asia region).
Handled induction of more than 150 expats on various contract modalities including International Consultants, Professional staff, UN Volunteers, Interns
Prime Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Recruitment and Selection according to departmental needs.
Contact management of employees.
Supporting Training and Development function of HR department
Conducting Training needs assessments with technical supervisors.
Advertising vacancies through newspapers, internet, corporate website and external job boards to drive down recruitment costs.
Processing payroll/non-payroll related payments on monthly basis
Processing Employees’ Old-Age Benefit (EOBI) for staff members
Designing effective training programs serving organizational needs.
Conducting disciplinary/grievance hearings
Assisting Senior Manager in annual appraisals and preparing annual reports.
Maintaining employment documentation in soft and hard records (in accordance with ISMS guidelines).
To assist division Manager in providing consultancy to clients as and when required (including but not limited to ISO 9001- QMS and ISMS 27001)
ISO 9001 (QMS) and ISMS 27001 document control through Process Definition, Implementation, Assessment, Maintenance, & Improvement in-line with ISO 27001 (ISMS) and ISO 9001 (QMS) standard guidelines.
