My major responsibilities as accountant includes:
- Recording and controlling financial transactions in accordance with IFRSs
- Monthly reconciliations with ledgers
- Monthly closing of accounts and preparation of management reports
- Monthly payments reporting to finance manager
- Application of monthly cut off and ensuring timely closing
- Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Maintaining fixed asset register
- Preparation of annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRSs.
- Assist internal audit and provide them with required data/information - Managing payables by prioritizing payments
- Managing customers in coordination with the sales team.
- Preparation of internal management reports
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Keeping an eye on bank balances to ensure sufficient funds
- Preparation of surplus/deficit report
- Follow-up with The Office of His Highness The Crown Prince of Dubai with regards to funds requested.
- Preparation of Management Information Reports as requested by the department heads
- Preparation and updating finance related policies and procedures

My job requires me to get engaged in the assignments related to Accounting & Finances, Auditing & Assurances and Consultancy.
Worked on several projects in a team on for the implementation of Oracle e-busines suite at Fatima Group.
I am a CA finalist currently from ICAEW and shall be looking forward to complete it by December 2017.
Currently working on a project to claim this degree under the unique partnership of ACCA with OBU.
I am now an ACCA Member
I am a CAT-ACCA Qualified. I have Achieved 1st position worldwide in December 2009 session in CAT paper 1 (recording financial transactions)
