Team Lead CDC-EGHS / GFATM-C19RM at JHPEIGO Corporation, A Johns Hopkins University Affiliate. C19RM Global Fund Technical Assistance- Genome Sequencing (NGS) Project. Providing technical assistance to Public Health Labs Division at the National Institute of Health- Pakistan & Global Funds Principal Recipient & Sub-Recipients to improve Lab diagnostics & disease surveillance through Next Generation Sequencing. This involves the development and implementation of new technologies for rapid pathogen identification, streamlining the NGS workflow for accelerated results.
Manage the Laboratory working and handle incoming research projects and making research project workflows and assigning duties and troubleshooting the projects and equipment. Hands-on experience in AmpliSeq and fragment library preparation for Transcriptomics, Metagenomics, BRACA, Covid- 19, Dengue, and PGS (Optimization and implementation for In- Vivo Fertilization). Hands-on Experience on 5SXL sequencer, Ion Chef, and Seq Studio, and can work on Ion Torrent and Ioncomine Reporter for analysis.
Teaching Undergraduate and Graduate students. Co-Supervisor in various projects. Member of the Curriculum development committee. Member of Admission Committee.
