Material Receiving inspection & Inspection on fabricated piping, structures, pipeline
before, during & after completion for measurement, correct materiel specification, consumables (storage, preservation, verifying test certificates & proper handling).
Valve Receiving, Valve Preservation and Valve Hydro testing as per SAEP-35, 04-SAMSS-35 & SAES-L-108
Witnessing Flange Joint Assembly, Bolt Torquing & Pipe internal Cleaning as per SAEP-351 and SAEP-388/SAES-L-488.
Review/maintain calibration records of Inspection/Test Equipment.
Preparation/Review of Hydro test packages as per the requirements in SAEP-1160
Hydro Testing Inspection: Monitoring the field construction pressure, testing & documentation activities for compliance with specifications. (Piping and Pipeline)
Familiar with hydro testing related Saudi Aramco standards like SAES-A-004, SAES-A-005, SAES-A-007, G.I.0002.102 etc. And De-watering as per SAEP-327.
Ensuring all NDT records, RFI’s, Punch list Items, Inspection record for all activities are completed prior to filling & testing.
Ensuring the field construction personnel are following the onsite pipe installation & testing requirements in compliance with SAES-L-150/450, G.I.7.025 & safety manuals.
Ensuring all monitoring, surveillance and inspection duties are performed as required.
Inspection & supervising construction, stringing of pipes & pipe supports, excavation of trench, backfilling, berming, stabilization, burn-pit constructions, Thrust boring, Field Bending, LDS (Leak Detection System) etc.
Ensuring that all necessary precautions are followed to prevent coating damages during Loading/unloading,
Preparation of QA/QC project documentation and inspection reports
Familiar with welding inspections that is before, during and after welding activities at site.
Inspecting fit-up and welding as per client specification, WPS and Standards.
Inspection of final weld quality for Visual Defects, weld face and root appearance, reporting the welded joints.
Inspection and verification of instrument and Equipment orientation, prior to start full penetration welding.
Raw material inspection and Consumables inspection: Visual, dimension, verification of correctness, identification and correlation with manufacturer’s test certificate
Monitoring of Pre-heat, inter-pass temperature and inter-pass cleaning as per WPS
Analyzing & maintaining welder performance records.
Weld Visual and Evaluation of welder performance with statistics report
Monitor and carry out day to day fabrication and inspection activities such as marking, cutting, edge preparation, fit up welding and assembly work
Test Pack review and attachments of all the reports necessary to conduct hydrotest and for the client review.
