Responsible for the day to day monitoring of Health & safety measures.
Responsible for assisting in implementation of the HSE management system and HSE plan.
Responsible in assisting the management in improving the safety culture within the organization.
Responsible for maintaining the HSE documentation/HSE files.
Inspect work area and make sure work permit compliance and safety precautions carried out or not.
Assist the management in conducting internal & external HSE audits.
Report to the management periodically about the performance on HSE (including the statistics).
Ensure that the health, safety and environmental requirements are complied with statutory requirements.
Coordinate with main contractor HSE professionals for site related HS&E issues.
Report all health, safety and environmental issues to the HSE Manager and concerned person.
Ascertain that precautionary measures are in place and cease any activity which is deemed dangerous.
Participate and lead HSE site walk with management periodically.
Ensure that work activities are only carried by competent and trained personnel by inspecting their training records and certification.
Attending monthly HSE meeting with site management.
Ensure that only tested and certified plant & equipment are allowed to operate at factory/site.
Liaise with sub-contractors’ safety officers on site/factor matters.
Prepare H&S reports and other documentations as and when required.
Carry out health, safety and environmental audits and inspections as and when required.
Prepare and assist the management to carry out accident/incident investigations and ensure the implementation of corrective action.
Environmental and sustainability inspection and documentation asper GSAS (Global Sustainability Assessment System).
Issue HSE Violation Notices and other Non-Compliance notices.
Organize health, safety and environmental meetings as requested by the HSE Manager.
Shall be fully aware of site health, safety, security and environmental requirements.
Cooperate with other departments to ensure the safe and smooth operations.
Ensure to provide safety induction and other HSE training to employees and visitors as per the training matrix and liaise with third party training provider for HSE training.
Ensure emergency preparedness and mock drills are conducted periodically.
Assist to prepare and review Risk assessments.

Field training with client’s staff regarding Fire safety.
* Field inspection on different clients plants
* Conducting Daily & Weekly H.S.E Tool Box Talks.
* Inspecting tools and tackles.
* Applying for work permits and ensuring that it is followed at site.
* Taking part in combined inspection with the client.
* Ensuring that the Site activities are in line with the Client H.S.E Policy
* Training the workers on emergency procedures.
* Investigating accidents and preparing reports.
* Ensuring that safe lifting and slinging procedures are followed at site.
* Training the workers on First-Aid and height work.
* Ensuring that safe work procedures are maintained while doing hot work at confined spaces.
* Fire safety Management Prepares.
* Risk assessment briefing.
* Emergency drill conducting.
