JOB Responsibilities:
Worked as a Cost Control with a full suite of pre and post contract responsibilities for Villas, High-Rise
Residential/Commercial Towers & Hotel Complexes with a full scope of work and contracts value exceeding
cumulative AED 2.4 Billion.
Implement Cost Control System, Policies and Procedures, and Corporate Monitoring Techniques, Site level
Data Collection Techniques and early alarming for the expected over runs and suggested alternatives,
Propose Value Engineering Techniques for Indirect Expenses.
Establishing, Maintaining, and Leading a Functional Cost Control System for the projects based on welldefined
procedures and Stakeholders’ Roles/Responsibilities for Data Collection, Earned Value Analysis, CostTo-Complete
Forecasting, and Effective Reporting for Recommended Corrective Action, and proper Feedback
to Estimation.
Managing the Preparation, Review, and Verification of Cost Estimates (Direct/Indirect) to ensure proper
Identification of Project Requirements, Unit Rates Breakdowns and clarification of Scope Exclusions. Prepare
Functional Department Heads aware of the Departmental Budgets and accounted for Overrun.
Manages finance functions including accounting, budget preparation, payables and receivables as per the adopted policies and procedures.
Manages and oversees the development of budgets, contracts, revenues, and/or accounts, and analyzes budget patterns and expenditures.
Oversees the preparation of working papers and approved budgets.
Monitors and approves expenditures, ensuring that it is within the approved budget and as per accounting policies and procedures.
Analyzes data via performing statistical analysis to reach accurate and beneficial conclusions that supports the decision making process.
Oversees and manages the development of the company’s budgets including fund allocation, revenue collection, budget projection, expenditures, etc.
Manages the development of the company’s standard costing, and overseeing the analysis and processes of cost accounting function.
Manages issuance of periodic financial statements of reports as per adopted procedures.
Performs other duties as required.
