Primary responsibilities includes:
• Work fully within risk policies and procedures and all compliance regulations
• Manage the definition of requirements, preparation of specifications or the matching of requirements to available applications
• Manage or source applications which meet user specifications, are cost-effective and align with existing applications
• Test applications through engagement with users, conduct risk assessments and prepare roll-out program
• Manage the implementation of solutions through roll-out, project management, communication and training
• Monitor and identify performance issues. Deliver problem resolution and implement required modifications
• Manage the sourcing of applications, manage relationships with suppliers and consultants and ensure delivery is optimal
• Monitor applications, commission user views on solutions provided and ensure feedback is assessed and acted on
• Own the applications end-to-end including the business relationship and the budget / DR / infrastructure
• Coordinate with vendors on system updates and requested changes
• Work effectively with different departments to ensure business requirements are met
Systems Support and Administration for: Oracle Financial Services Analytical applications - Financial Crime and Compliance Management(OFSAA FCCM), Misys Opics Plus 2.1 Treasury System, ABK Mobile Banking System (SMART MOBI), ABK Secure Pay (Power card E-secure) and Online Banking .
Application Support and Administration for: ABK Provsys for Bank Provision Calculation Automation), Crisil Credit Risk Evaluator (CRE), ABK Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), ABK Credit Approval System, ABK KYC Risk Assessment, ABK Performance Management System and ABK Global Enquiry Web Services.
Technical Support and Administration for: IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) and IBM WebSphere MQ (WMQ) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition 12c (OBIEE).
DR Support and Maintenance for: Misys Opics Plus 2.1 Treasury System, Misys Meridian Interface, Reuters and Bloomberg Interfaces, Misys Message Manager 4.2 (MMM) and all the assigned systems
System Development in Microsoft & Java Technologies (C#, VB.Net, ASP.NET, AJAX, Entity Framework, LINQTOSQL, SQL SERVER 2000, 2005, 2008, 2012, DB2, Oracle).
Identify underlying bugs, risks, deficiencies, and opportunities . Configuring and documenting system parameters. Installs critical application patches and enhancement releases. Coordinate and help business team and other stake holders across the impacted systems/platforms to facilitate their user acceptance and testing (UAT).
