Contract Value: AED 705million.

The Seventh Crossing Corridor consists of constructing a new roadway corridor with features like vehicular underpass, pedestrian underpass, ancillary buildings, fire pumping stations and drainage pumping station. The scope of work included; traffic signal intersections, road lighting, electricity & water distribution, telecommunication works, tunnel lighting and control system, tunnel ventilation system, fire alarm and extinguisher systems, public address system, access control system, surveillance and monitoring systems.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Working closely with engineers, architects, technicians and site
personnel to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Assist Sr. Electrical Engineer in defining the technical requirements and execution of the assigned works during construction phase.
• Reading electrical design specifications and technical drawings.
• Preparation of procedures/method statements for installation, test & commissioning of electrical systems.
• Liaising with client, consultant and authorities, and monitoring third party contractors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and purchase items at optimum cost.
• Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to
managers and clients.
• Responsible for estimating materials, manpower and resources.
• Prepare Request for Approvals for site activities and follow up for
inspection, measurement and final approval.
• Prepare material submittals and follow-up with consultant/client for approval.
• Monitor the daily progress of site activities and prepare weekly
progress reports.
