Operation and Maintenance of Sodium sulphar battery system (NAS BESS) for DEWA. 1.2 MW 7.2 MWh Battery storage system.
Controlling of different modes of operations for Charging&Discharnging of battery through SCADA.
Monitoring of daily operation and compiling of log data.
Installation & Maintenance of Automated Meter Reading (AMR) technology for buildings and villas
at Abu Dhabi.
▪ Guiding the maintenance team of supervisors, and Electrical technicians for achieving requirements
as per contract with client.
▪ Monitor replacement of faulty Electric meter and Water meter in site.
▪ Prepare and follow up of daily work order for site technicians on priority basis.
▪ Monitoring the working condition of all Energy and Water meters via online monitoring system
(SCADA) and carry out the maintenance works as required.
▪ Integration of Smart meters in existing AMR/Smart Grid System
Smart meters with the client are from different manufacturers
Electricity: (Elster AS253, Elster AS1253, Actaris ACE5000, Actaris ACE6000, Iskra MT831, Iskra
MT830, etc
Water Meters: Severn Trent (SM150E), Elster 15mm&20mm Hydrus 15mm&20mm, etc.
▪ Configuring and Reading of all smart meters with the SCADA system using different protocols like
(RS485 Cosem HDLC, RS485 DLMS, M-BUS, Euridis, etc)
▪ Installing & Configuring of Powerline Communication Devices (PLC) for remote meters with server
using the existing powerline.
▪ Frequency planning for powerline device with different carrier frequency to reduce the
interference.
▪ Installing the different communication devices as per the specific meter protocol on site as well as in
the application server using HHU (Motorola MC75 PDA).
▪ Replacement of faulty communication device and other AMR devices as part of preventive
maintenance.
Devices: CPU - GPRS/Ethernet based gateway device

▪ Maintaining Electronics Workshop for repairing of faulty AMR devices and other electronic
accessories for.
Root cause analysis of AMR devices (Digital and Analog Oscilloscope, Multimeter, Ohmmeter).
▪ Support and guide the team for repairing of faulty AMR modules and replacing damaged
components.
▪ Maintaining stock of electronic and other components for repairing in workshop and ordering the
items as per specifications.
▪ Documentation of entire repairing details, Incoming and outgoing replacement of AMR devices and
ensure maximum repairing to meet the target.
▪ Report directly to the maintenance manager and make weekly and monthly reports of all activity for
client.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:-
EDA packages : Dip trace 2.1
: ARES
Development tools : MPLAB IDE, Kiel
Programming microcontrollers in C and Assembly language.
Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting security, access control devices and components.
Worked as hardware and networking engineer.
Excellent Computer Skills: C, OrCAD-PSpice, Lab VIEW, Proteus, Microsoft Office.
Protocol Handled - UART, I2C, and SPI.
Role and Responsibilities:-
Design and develop the circuit with various components.
Adjusts, calibrates, align and modifies circuitry and components.
Troubleshoot the problems and providing the best possible solution.
Implement the test bench environment for unit level and System level using UART.
Assembling and installation of access control system.
Configuring and integration of LAN and WLAN.
