Managing Health, Safety and Security at Bahrain International Airport term contract.
Developing safety management plans, administering the implementation of the same as per the guidelines and conducting safety inspections/audits, surveillance and auditing for compliance
Establishing the standards on health and safety based on Bahrain Airport Company's HSE procedures, Aerodrome Safety and security based on ICAO standards and advising on methods of synchronizing the culture of BAC.
BAC approved authorized person from NASS on Safety and Security access
Providing HSE leadership to the Client, Program Management and Construction Management teams to develop and implement a project-wide culture that emphasizes leading measures and
drives toward a zero incident culture.
Ensuring full integration of safety culture throughout all levels of the Project and act as a day to day safety advocate.
Responsible for monitoring of safety for the various construction projects within the industrial city
Set the standards on safety, based on MODON current HSE procedures, and will advise on methods of synchronizing the HSE culture of MODON and the contractors with the Jacobs ZATE Beyond Zero approach etc
Monitoring the project activities from the client side, coordinating and advising the Health and Safety requirements as per Marafiq Safety Manual.
Implementation of Beyond Zero concept in the project and in Jacobs.
Implementation of Safety Observation Report (SOR) cards in the project as well as in Jacobs.
Prepare, develop, manage and coordinate implementation of the HSE plans and job safety statements on all the company and the client operation activities
Implementing the following:
- implementation of PTWC Systems
- Site Safety Policies including sub contractors as per clients HSE Policy.
- confined space entry regulations and emergency evacuation procedures
- Safety Rules while carrying out Heavy Lifting, Erection, Men & Material Transportation.
- Environmental & Pollution Control Procedures at site.

Ensuring workplaces compliance to health and safety legislation by carrying out daily site safety inspection, safety audit and various training / induction programs.
Identifying critical parameters and processes which are hazardous in nature; undertaking steps for curtailing emergencies / associated risks and ensuring greenery.
Charting out several safety measures for minimizing occurrence of accidents, fires, calamities; conducting investigations for determining basic cause of industrial accidents.
Conducting Job Safety Analysis & Job Hazard Analysis for various civil and mechanical activities and implementing its scope while executing them.
Carrying out inspections for construction equipments and permit to work along with attached documents at site prior to starts work
Monitoring the project activities from the client side, coordinating and advising the Health and Safety requirements as per UAE Health and Safety Codes of Practice.
Prepare, develop, manage and coordinate implementation of the HSE plans and job safety statements on all the company and the client operation activities.
Advise the Project Manager and the client for the HSE requirements and regulations; audit the company and the client operations HSE plans and implementation.
Audit HSE goals for the company and the client according to the relevant legislations in UAE.
Coordinates and monitors the implementation of the requirements of Safety Management Plan and arranges continuous and formal daily safety monitoring to ensure compliance and effectiveness and preparation of Reports (Inspection Reports, NCR &CAR).
Conducting Investigation and immediately reporting in email all accidents or dangerous occurrences recommending means of preventing recurrence.
To coordinate with Client Safety management team, Liaison with contractors at times of joint responsibilities.
Provide hands-on participation in the development and implementation of the Project Safety Plan (PSP) for new projects
Reviewing of HSE Plan, method statements and risk assessments
Participating on HSE high profile tour, progress meetings, Safety meetings etc
Formulating Safety Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for new plants for ensuring Environment, Health & Safety
Promary responsibility to implementing Health, safety &n Environment program.
Ensuring Health and Safety of workers and sustainability of workplaces.
Ensuring personal health resources in the workplace.
Assessing and evaluating work procedures to identify potential hazards and eliminate them or ensure that adequate controls are in place through
advising construction managers, supervisors and employees about safe work practices and safety standards and regulations.
Inspection for working at height includes scaffolds, MEWPS, lifting activties etc.
inspect machines to identify potential hazards, recommend risk reduction measures and supervise the installation of safety features or the introduction of safer procedures
Inspecting site and offices for fire hazards and adequate fire protection, and inspection of firefighting equipment etc
Advising employees about safe and healthy work practices and ensuring safety of supervisors.
Monitoring the site activities through Safety Officers and guiding of them as per the client’s (Dubai civil Aviation) requirements.
Six Safety Officers & Nine Safety Assistants were worked under me, whereby around 3000 people and proportionate Engineers and Supervisors also there, etc.
