Promotes the company services and assists in the proposal
preparation phase and provides input-if applicable- in
specifying project scope of work or issuing a change request.
Prepare technical submittal for consultants and contractors
according to required project standards.
Reviews upon awarding, all information and documents related
to the project such as, proposals, scope of work, project
deliverables and deadlines.
Prepares with the assistance of the Project Sales Engineer the
detailed project work plan, and specify the deadline for each
deliverable and send the plan to each related discipline.
Monitors the project on a regular basis to ensure compliance
with project plan schedule, man-hour budget, quality
requirements, and contractual obligations.
Receives all the main deliverables from the project team and
confirms its compatibility with the plan, presents these
deliverables to the clients and discusses the required changes
and recommendations
Represents Legrand in Project meetings or seminars and
ensures retaining professional communication with the client,
Consultant & The contractors to obtains approvals and
decisions.
Directs the periodical internal meetings (weekly, bi-weekly…
etc.) and coordinates with the internal project team and
Distributors to guarantee solving any potential problems and
mediates any internal disagreements and always makes
decisions in regard to the best interests of the Projects and the
firm.
Ascertains that project records, data and documents are
properly maintained and stored for future reference.

Prepares estimated power for the project after having project
mechanical and operational requirements from different
departments.
Analyze the summer & winter load to achieve the optimum size of
the Transformers, Generator, Cables etc. used in the project.
Allocating electrical rooms in close coordination with the
architectural department.
Response to the client comments according to the codes &
standards and comply it accordingly.
Editing the power layout and power single line diagram using
AutoCAD/Revit.
Preparing overall panel schedule for the project.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers to reflect their equipments
in the power drawings and allocating proper electric supply.
Reviewing the electrical BOQ of the projects to make it sure that
all the major items are included which have been used in the
design, with proper quantities/lengths.
Preparing the electric power calculation report for all major
projects which includes the Load flow analysis, Short circuit
studies at different levels, Cable sizing, Voltage Drop,
Transformer & Generator sizing etc.
Coordinate with architecture at the start of the project for the
allocation of electrical, transformers, generators & Low current
rooms.
Involve in the quality check for the work done in the branch offices.
Work closely with other project team members as needed to
ensure the final combined product functions properly and
performs at levels specified in the product specifications.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and
Quality Assurance on Cross-Functional Teams as needed to
optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
Work with other engineering personnel to establish design
parameters and ensure the designs comply with Product
Specifications including harsh electrical and environmental
conditions.
Maintain design documentation for each design in a neat and
organized fashion for review by other engineering personnel.
Review the design calculations of others to ensure proper
application of design techniques.
Work with Manufacturing Engineering and outside suppliers as
needed to identify and rectify manufacturing, component or
assembly problems. Review designs to ensure manufacturing
considerations are taken into account.
Designs and/or supervises the design of a variety of electrical
systems.
Lead a team of Electrical technicians in installation of electrical
equipment related to Power and Industrial facilities
Assist in the start-up and commissioning of electrical
distribution system, including controls, interlocks and
obstructions
Co-ordinate, prepare, sign and seal electrical drawings for
construction purposes.
