• My role as Oracle HCM/Financial techno-functional consultant is implementing and maintaining Oracle ERP HCM (Core HR, SSHR, Payroll) & Financial (GL, Payables, Receivables and Fixed Assets) modules, developing custom forms, Reports, Data upload using Discoverer, XML, and APIs on EBS Release 12.
• Provide support with all required data for upgrading from 11i to R12
• Customize Oracle R11i/R12 application by developing new reports, forms, packages, procedures, OAF
Personalization and new interfaces for HRMS, XML Publisher modules
• Develop APIs/ Conversions to migrate data from old system (PIPS) into Oracle application base tables
• Provide support during implementation of HR, Payroll, Self-Service and Performance Management for flexfields, BG absence, Payroll Fast Formulas, Payroll Elements, AME, etc.
• Resolved issues during the technical upgrade from Oracle HRMS Payroll 11i to R12
• Involved in the monthly Payroll run in terms of supporting, maintenance and operations
• Assisted the HR department staff for the payroll production issues.
• Wrote payroll fast formulas deductions for the advance salary
• Performed balance adjustments to correct employee payroll balances.
• Wrote Fast Formulas to calculate employee's allowances, bonuses based on grade.
• Monitored the Pre-Payroll processes, Payroll process and post-Payroll processes.
• Assist with the process and review of payroll related interfaces results in costing and transfer to GL.
• Doing reconciliation, the payroll amount with the GL
• Implemented Self-Service HR on Oracle EBS R12, Created EIT and SIT and the approver groups for approving the EITs and SITS. Personalize EIT and SIT based on the responsibility
• Worked on the SYSAMIN activities including the creation of users, responsibilities, menus, concurrent programs, request sets and request groups.
• Developed interface in the technical upgrade for transferring the data from the legacy system to the Oracle R12.
• Designed the hierarchy approval workflow for the above applications.
• Added reports in the customized applications developed in the XML publisher.
• Reviewed the test plan in the R12 upgrade UAT.
• Reviewed the users training manual, user guide manual before R12 upgrade Go Live.
• Fulfilled user needs of customizations and resolving the problem requests with functional setup. Provided training material and assistance to the application users
• Involve in creating Alerts & User hooks, Self-Service Personalization and Workflow Customizations
• Gather / define business requirements, convert them into technical specifications, plan resources & schedules for projects and run complex projects right from designing and development till production
• Exhibit demonstrated leadership skills in defining requirements for project risks as well as designing and maintaining technical / project documentation
• Gather / record data from business users, data cleaning, Oracle technical development, purchasing implementation & support, stored functions & procedures, database triggers, packages, etc.
• Identify / document issues & gaps in future environments based on business requirements and configure application modules in line with agreed flows in the development environment
• Involved in requirement gathering and analysis and design of the application
• Provided APEX guidance and support to technical staff on application maintenance
• Used Oracle APEX 5.1 for designing application structure.
• Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective proposals and take active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients
• Identify business requirements and map them to the Oracle application functionality; identify functionality gaps and develop solutions for the same
