Reporting and Financial Analysis:
• produce various financial statements and accounting reports for an
organization.
• Reviewing accounting records, analyzing the data for specific reports, and
creating required reports for upper management.
• Develop account reconciliations, journal entries, data compilation and
analyses ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Develop regular financial statements, prepare special projects and perform
analysis for senior management.
• Coordinate with various departments and perform variation analyses for all
technical accounting problems to frame accounting policies, and develop
annual capital expenditure budget.

and prepare special reports and perform appropriate research.

• Oversees the system of internal controls over Accounting functions to

Cost Recovery:
• ensure that the “Statement of Fees Due and Payable” (the ‘Invoice’) which is
issued by the Lead Contractor, accurately reflects the cost of the Operating
activities of the company and subsequently generates the appropriate Oil
Lifting Entitlements in accordance with the TSC (Technical Service Contract).
• Submission of Invoice on a monthly basis with the current and previous month
reporting actual numbers and a forecast for the subsequent months of the
quarter
• Support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) business unit analysts by being
the first point of contact for issues and questions.
• Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting
principles and internal controls and apply them.
With Holding Tax (WHT).
• · Oversees Withholding Tax reporting, Payments and procedures.
• Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
• · Developing and implementing an approved Withholding Tax (WHT) Process
for its operations in Rumaila Oil Field.
• · Preparing WHT payments for the General Commission for Taxes.
• · Maintaining records and reconciliations of WHT payments and receipts.
• Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
• Responding to suppliers’ WHT queries.
• Providing all the necessary information required by Tax authorities regarding
WHT payments, reconciliations.
• Reviewing the trading nature of all newly signed Contracts & Purchase Orders
and service provided by the contractors to assure applying the correct WHT
rates.
• Produce the WHT accounts ageing analysis report.
• Vendor’s accounts and WHT reconciliation

• · Ensure that invoices follow-up is being done and to highlight any receivables
concerns to Finance and Operations Management.
• · Ensure revenue accounting processes being followed as per Financial
Procedures
• charged with the proper invoicing within standard polices reflective of the
customers' requirement.
• · Works with operation Managers, Unit VP’s to assure timely and accurate
invoicing and rating occurs.
• · Interface with operational managers and Finance Director.
• · Assure timely collection of monies due to corporation.
• · Manage cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly.
• · Assure that the companies standard template regarding invoice sample is in
place for every Customer.

Account Payables:
• Manage accounting functions including maintenance of general ledger,
accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project accounting; ensures
accuracy and timeliness
• Develop implements and maintains systems, procedures and policies,
including accounts payable functions to ensure adherence to company
guidelines.
• Manage monthly closing of financial records and posting of month end
information; ensures accuracy of financial statements.
• Provide accounting assistance to Country Controller and operations staff;
responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Works closely with the Operations to ensure that the operations within the
Unit are conducted in compliance with the local laws.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with the
company policies and procedures. Ensure adherence to corporate ethical
policies and internal controls. Organize periodic audits internally and assist
in external audits.
