• Assist in maintaining and analysing accident data and recommend proactive solutions to
reduce the frequency and severity of accidents.
• Assist the GM HSE Operations & Projects in safety-related matters in day-to-day operations.
• Conduct periodic internal audits of facilities and equipment to comply with code
requirements, identify safety hazards, and prevent accidents.
• Conduct the FPSO operations safety induction programme.
• Coordinate relevant surveys, assessments, and training session requirements.
• Coordinate with the In-Country Manager on the management of the Corrective Actions
Register for the FPSO/FSU.
• Develop and implement proactive safety initiatives and programmes.
• Ensure correct data is maintained in the PowerBI system.
• Implement the Safety Programme on FPSO/FSU.
• Inspect and maintain safety equipment such as firefighting equipment.
• Liaise closely with the In- Country Managers and Operations team to provide HSE advice and
support in managing safety, health, and environmental issues, including hazard
identification, risk assessment, mitigation, or control of workplace hazards for FPSO/FSU.
• Maintain incident, operations, internal audit & non-conformance Action Tracking Register.
• Manage the FPSO/FSU incident investigation and follow-up action reporting systems. Review
the FPSO/FSU Incident Investigation reports for quality & consistency.
• Manage Company-wide data management of incidents, audits, ER exercises, Incident
Reporting, Auditing Guidelines, and ER standards and procedures.
• Monitor and track Operations Environmental Plans for FPSO/FSU and advise on
environmental issues, waste disposal, and waste management.
• Monitor trends on HSE and ensure that we are learning from the trends and implementing
the appropriate actions to improve our systems and overall performance for FPSO/FSU.
• Participate in incident investigations.
• Participate in monthly general safety meetings.
• Perform data entry in HSE databases and retrieve reports as required. Create customised
reports and dashboards and update HSE documents within targeted timeframes.
• Perform monthly site safety inspections in accordance with the fire marshal inspection
programme.
• Pioneered the development and deployment of the Process Safety Fundamentals e-learning
module, delivering an engaging and interactive training experience tailored for both offshore
and onshore teams, reinforcing critical safety principles and driving a culture of operational
excellence.
• Plan and participate in Management HSE internal audits for FPSO/FSU to ensure compliance
with the BAB HSE Standard and ensure that the audit findings are reported to management
and acted upon.
• Prepare presentations for Management meetings and any other meetings.
• Prepare reports for submission to management and external parties as required by superior.
• Prepare safety Inductions and present when required.
• Prepare Team of Fire Wardens and First Aiders as required. Liaise with Training
Coordinator/Occupational Health Physician/Learning and Development etc. to plan and
organise required training for Fire Wardens and First Aiders.
• Responsible for monitoring the overall BAB HSSEQ performance to ensure all the business
units are achieving their targeted KPI.
• Track and record the HSSEQ performance across the organisation for reporting purposes.
Maintain a database on HSSEQ performance. Data gathering from all the Business Units to
compile and prepare an overall BAB monthly report.
• Undertake significant technical responsibility and help with managing the day-to-day
execution. Support all the BU focal points for KPI direction and control within the team,
including checking the deliverables prepared by the BU HSE representatives within the HSE
group.
