• Achieved Financial Close of the two Power Plants by meeting the condition precedents within the deadlines
• Developed funding & operational strategies; secured LCs, Guarantees and Working Capital for the Projects
• Managing 25 plus Lenders, 10 plus Hedging Banks, 4 plus Account Banks, altogether on all the projects
• Negotiated & finalized contracts to ensure cost remains as estimated under Project Cost in financial models
• Obtained waivers / consents from the lenders, secured extensions and concessions on various aspects of Project and Financing documents, managed exceptions and expectation of lenders
• Advised technical teams of projects on matters related to reporting to stakeholders
• Designed policies & procedures for finance function and aligned use of Oracle for requirements of projects, contracts and approval requirements of Board approved authority matrix
• Interviewed, recruited, trained and developed the finance team for the three projects

Managed an array of functions including finance, compliance and administration, reporting to the CEO and the Board; entrusted with the responsibility of coordinating with cross-functional departments at Head Office in Malaysia including Finance, Internal Audit, Compliance, Risk Management, Business Continuity and Secretarial Department for managing operations and ensuring alignment with the Head office. Worked on expansion plans and developed business strategies. Member of Board Risk Committee and trusted to attend AGMs as a proxy to represent shareholder for 6 years; attended the quarterly Board meetings for consecutive 6 years.

Worked in audit & advisory departments including Transaction and Business Advisory practice covering Statutory Audits, IFRS Accounting, Financial & Marketing Due Diligence, Financial & Marketing Feasibility Study, Business Planning, Preparation of Accounting Manual and Capital Structuring.

External Audit of various clients of KPMG across sectors from manufacturing, banking, hospitality and service industry.
