The main duties included:
• Design Electrical network for power distribution as per the appropriate standard. (High and Low voltage)
• Prepare electrical tender packages including bill of quantities.
• Liaise with fellow engineer to ensure that all drawing are properly coordinated.
• Attend regular meeting with client to take upon their request.
• Manage the budget for the electrical services installation throughout the project.
• Relay relevant information to fellow engineer and draughtsman.
• Carry out condition survey existing installation and submit report on way forward.
• Carry out regular meeting with MEP contractor to check progress of work and forth coming site issues.
• Provide an aesthetic, safe and cost effective solution to site issues.
• Carry out bi monthly quality control on site to ensure required standard are met.
• Assist in project close-out in reviewing the As-made drawing and organisation of training for client.
• Reviewing the Program of work for MEP sub contractor to ensure timely delivery of project.
• Meet and provide solution fro implementation of post handing over work.

• Assist in the design of Electrical (LV and ELV) and Mechanical (Plumbing, Piping and HVAC) services.
• Ensure proper coordination between contractors, consultant, project team and clients
• Relay the relevant information to fellow engineers, draughtsman and project leader.
• Prepare detailed calculations, mark ups of drawing.
• Carry out site supervision and quality control.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities.
• Assist in the project close-out and in the preparation of handover certificate.
• Plan the daily work and ensure delivery on time.

• Operate and maintain the Medium Voltage Network at the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam international airport.
• Identify and troubleshoot the problems that may arise on the MV network and report the problem to the chief
Engineer.
• Be acquainted to the to the SCADA network; interpret the different alarm that may arise and take the necessary
corrective action.
• Identify Faulty parts in the MV network system.
• Technical report writing.

• Getting acquainted to the different work processes in the industry and defining area of investigation in term of
energy consumption.
• Compared the energy consumption between the actual and theoretical energy consumption for dyeing process and
looked at ways to reduce the energy consumption.
• Writing up of report about findings and possible improvement. involved in the:
◦ Installation and Commissioning of electronic scales.
◦ Installation of network scales at Jumbo.
◦ Servicing and calibration of weighbridge at different sites.
◦ Installation and commissioning of Fire alarms.
