- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile
transactions.
-Produce error-free accounting reports and
present their results.
- Analyze financial information and summaries
financial status.
- Review and recommend modifications to
accounting systems and procedures.
- Participate in financial standards setting and
in forecast process.
- Provide input into department’s goal setting
process.
- Support month-end and year-end close
process.
- Follow-up the debtor account and issuing
periodic reports on them.
- Follow-up of bank reconciliations and discuss
reports of outstanding amounts and displayed
on the direct supervisor.

balances, hourly rate calculations, allocations
and reallocations )
- Following and sharing the accounts payables
and the accounts receivables postings
monthly.
- Following the SAP HR system posting and
sharing in the corrections
- Reconcile Balance sheet accounts.
- Following and supporting the procurement
system inside the company

- Monthly reporting (SAP, Hyperion & SBC)
- Following drilling activities and capitalized
expenses
- Posting HR journals (payroll, loans, advance
and others) (HR accountant role)
- General ledger accounting
- Tax reporting in Libya (preparing the financial
statements according to IFRS and Libyan
GAAP)
- Cooperate with auditors
- Lead the exploration branches closure in
Libya
- Responsible for the local reporting
- Follow up and perform SOX key controls,
internal controls and compliance
-Member of the Ethics committee and
compliance network
- SAP FI model reporting and analysis
- Petty cash following up and booking.
- Local & Foreign Bank reconciliations.
- Assisting Account Payables in issuing
payment orders and checks & Inter-company
Payments.
- Assisting Account payables in booking the
costs.
- Issuing the company invoices to the clients
and following them and meet the clients.
- Following & Booking Cash applications.
- Prepare Inter-company Reports.
- Inter-Company Reconciliation.

Reports
- Prepare profit and loss statements and
monthly closing and cost accounting reports
- Compile and analyze financial information to
prepare entries to accounts, such as general
ledger accounts, and document business
transactions
- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the
implementation of accounting and accounting
control procedures
- Analyze and review budgets and expenditures
for local, state, federal, and private funding,
contracts, and grants
- Monitor and review accounting and related
system reports for accuracy and
completeness
- Prepare and review budget, revenue,
expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other
accounting documents
- Develop and maintain financial data bases,
computer software systems and manual filing
systems
- Interact with internal and external auditors in
completing audits
