Responsibilities
Manage Core Banking Automation (CBA) program for National Bank of Pakistan. Responsible for planning, governance & control of CBA projects with multi-million Dollar contract value, including 3 core banking applications from Fidelity core banking portfolio Profile, Profile Islamic Banking & AllProfit. Other satellite projects include implementation of SAP FI/CO & HCM, Theta Origins - Loan Origination, Misys Kondor+ for Treasury and Internet Banking; Managing team of 30 resources, responsible for developing people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring all levels of staff
• Lead Program Management engagements, responsible for the end to end management and timely completion of projects.
• Defining program and project work streams in coordination relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and publish progress reports of all assigned projects and escalate issues, conflicts, constraints to appropriate stakeholders.
• Plan, prepare and review deliverables in various forms including written reports, presentations and discussions with client, processes for risk control and reporting.
• Communicate significant issues, fees, and estimates-to-complete to client Management
• Ensures an effective resourcing strategy is in place, that recruitment needs are properly addressed and that induction is effectively managed including budget and financial management.
• Manage the coordination with the testing team to facilitate the testing activities and resolution of any issues identified during testing.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Manage all financial aspects of the business unit.
• Undertakes a day to day oversight of the governance of the Pakistan office, its quality system and metrics, and ensures that these are robust and complete.

Strategic, Planning & I.T Governance
- Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the I.T needs of the bank to ensure the I.T capabilities are responsive to the needs of the bank's growth and objectives.
- Develop establish operating policies and approaches based on international standard I.T Governance framework- COBIT, evaluate risks and internal control processes for computing and information technology.
- Prepare enterprise objectives and budgets to facilitate the orderly and efficient Banking systems operations, processing, and dissemination of information.
- Identify emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated, and introduced within the bank.
- Assess new computing technologies to determine potential value for the bank.
Programme / Project Management
- Successfully managed MISYS Equation (CBS) implementation with budgetary value of 1.6 million USD.
- Managed Programme for Contact Center solution Implemented Avaya Genesis solution integrated with Microsoft dynamics CRM and core banking.
- Implemented Mobile commerce solution offering mobile banking, bill payments services to retails customers.
