Task Dimensions:
Providing strategic leadership in WAJ’s core programme areas of Governance & Peace, Environmental Protection, Poverty Alleviation & Livelihood and Disaster Management.
Managing on behalf of WAJ’s Board of Directors the organizational funds/ budget.
Establishing and marinating productive linkages with government departments, elected representatives, donor agencies and partner civil society organizations.
Representing WAJ in social networks, civil society movement at local, national and international fora
Supervising a team of 14 staff, following were my roles and responsibilities under this position;
•Implementing of STAEP project activities in 5 district and 6 constituencies of National Assembly in Hazara division KPK
•As a team lead, I supported my district and Constituency Coordinators established Constituency Relations Groups (CRGs)
•Coordinating with district and Constituency Coordinators to develop brief guidelines on governance monitoring, civic education, CNIC formation and voter registration
I was overall in charge of Aawaz programme implementation and oversight in 6-working district in KPK and Punjab with 81 staff members. Brief description of my roles and responsibilities are narrated below;
•Development, implementation and management of Aawaz Programme activities in 6-district including 3-distant districts.
•As a team lead, I gave my professional inputs to finalize key documents- Theory of change, Communication Policy, Excluded Group Policy, Value for Money, Gender and Implementation Strategies.
•Orientation of project staff on key documents, advocacy campaigns, programme quality reporting and other relevant matters as per guidelines set by donor.
•Coordinating with various thematic Managers to develop brief guidelines on their thematic and support functions.
•Produce and deliver a range of IEC materials i.e. concept notes, training modules, manuals and material, quarterly newsletter, booklets, pamphlets, hand-outs, articles, scripts for street theatre and documentaries.
•Technical backstopping to 6-zonal offices in the field on day to day basis
•Programmatic and financial monitoring of programme activities with the assistance of M&E and Finance team
•Ensure effective review and planning on annual, quarterly, monthly and Weekly basis
•Writing quality quarterly and annual reports
•Facilitating donor in annual review of the project
•Preparing annual financial budgeting and Work Plan with DAI and DFID.
•Building strong working relationship with Provincial government, district administration, elected local government representatives, leadership of political parties, local and national media, civil society organizations, professional and trade union, religious leaders and law enforcement agencies in the working districts.
•Representing Sungi on various networks and working groups
•Participation in programme Review Meeting (PRM) organized by donor and MO biannually.
EU-funded Long-Term Election Observation and Oversight in Pakistan (LTEOOP
I conducted institutional development workshops to assist district leadership of political parties to develop strategies and skills in strengthening their party structures. Coordinated outreach to Mansehra district and successfully led replication of activities in Haripur, Abbottabad, Battagram and AJK. I Supervised 4 staff members to implement this project. Key task including
•Design the project activities with NDI
•Implemented the project by conducting institutional development workshops to assist district leadership of political parties to develop strategies and skills in strengthening their party structures.
•Coordinated outreach to Mansehra district and successfully led replication of activities in Haripur, Abbottabad, Battagram and AJK.

7. Relief In charge Hazara Division and AJK
I supervised 60 staff member team to implement various projects in post-earthquake 2005 phase to start awareness raising campaign in disaster hit area “build back better” by arranging seminars on building codes.
•Started awareness raising campaign among schools of disaster hit area titled “Disaster a tragedy or challenge”
•Developed and staged various street theatre shows on disaster management
•Arranged training of staff and volunteers on Humanitarian Accountability Procedure (HAP)
•Run TV and radio and cable show on disaster management
•Assisted in the implementation, monitoring, reporting, coordination and networking for DRR project in Sungi Mansehra and Abbottabad, Battagram, Allai and Aazad Kashmir.

•Arranged Capacity building events of partners and other stakeholders’ on DRR/EP and to support DDMA in preparation of DRM plan.
•Developed tools and monitoring mechanisms to track the performance of DRR and Emergency Preparedness Project.
•Ensured efficient and effective implementation of Community Based Disaster Management (CBDM) activities in targeted Union Councils of disaster hit area in Mansehra, Azad Kashmir, Battagram, Allai and Abbottabad.
•Supervised Capacity building programs at the community level for VDMCs and also cover Hazard, Risk, Vulnerability and Capacity assessment (HRVCA).

I supervised and managed 32 spontaneous camps for 5000 men and women affectees.

I supervised relief programme in Sungi for one-year and provided humanitarian assistance to earthquake affectees in Balakot, Mansehra, Battagram, Abbottabad and AJK
•Supervised Sungi warehouse for 9-month
I implemented the project with the support of 20 staff members. Major responsibilities including;
Overall responsible to design and implement and evaluate human and democratic rights programme and projects in Sungi; Major roles and responsibilities were;
•Designing and facilitating training for the staff and select activists on human rights, Rights Based Development), budget literacy, advocacy and lobbying and governance
•Preparing programmatic action plan and follow up on the output
•writing quarterly and annual progress reports
•Facilitating zonal offices to use educational theatre as mobilization tools in programme implementation
•Establishing working relations with Govt: departments, district administration, elected representatives, and civil society groups
`NDI-funded Capacity Building Project for Political Parties
I supervised a team of 20 staff members t implement the project. Major responsibilities were;
•Design the project with the close collaboration of PILER and RNE
•Identified and trained the focal persons of project in Swat, Abbottabad, Haripur, Mardan, Nowshehra and Chahrsaddah
•Provided capacity building workshops to support elected councilors to understand their core labour rights and sharpen their inter personal skills
•Facilitated strengthening of elected councilors’ networks with other stakeholders at the local and national level to enhance good governance.
•Monitoring of capacity building programme in 5-district of KPK with the support of PILER
•Ensured timely reporting to donor
I supervised a team of 20 staff members to run OAKCD. Providing overall leadership to the OAKCD team to support and cater for staff development needs of Sungi, and developing capacities of community partners. As a capacity building specialist, trainer, facilitator and manager developed and implemented about 300 short training events, seminars, people assemblies and workshops for staff, community partners, government line agencies and elected representatives. My key responsibilities were;
•To run the center on sustainable footing by creating its own resources
•Design annual business plan of OAKCD
•Attracting other organization for need based and tailor made courses at the center
•Design HR policies and procedures
•Dealing with recruitment, training and development, staff job description, performance evaluation
•TNA, designing and facilitating training for enhancing the skills of the staff, Local Government elected representatives, CSOs and community
•Arranging international training events for staff and community
10. RNE Funded Project on Capacity Building for Elected Labor/Peasant/Minority Councilor in KPK
I supervised a team of 10 staff members to do my job. Major responsibilities were;
•Identifying the needs of HR in different sectors and equipped them with appropriate skills.
•Coordinating and implementing Sungi’s staff development plan through multicultural resource person’s team
•To create linkages with other training institutes and the organization
•Sharpening the skills of Sungi staff and boost the work of Sungi as a rights based development organization.

•Supporting other programs and sections in module development and conducting sectoral training.
Dakhni Oil & Gas Filed
My first attachment to the field was with Dakhni oils and gas field. Dakhni oil and Gas filed is unique in Pakistan in this regards that apart from oil and Gas production, this filed also produced Sulfur. As the gas in this field is sour so the sulfur recovery plant add in to the income and commodity of OGDC.
Dakhni gave me a lot of experience as I learnt different lab test at this lab comprising liquid hydrocarbons, refinery gases LPG, water and sulfur. I also did gas chromatography test both at Dakhni lab, well equipped with latest instruments.

I supervised project activities in 5-district of Hazara Division and 6- National Assembly constituencies. Focus of this project was to strengthen democratic institutions and practices through greater public trust in transparent and accountable electoral processes and enforcement of election laws leads to greater trust of political parties and people. I supervised a team of 10 staff. Major roles and responsibilities including;
•Implemented project activities in 5-district of Hazara Division, covering all the 6- National Assembly constituencies.
•Supported project coordinator in Identification, profiling, training and placement of pre-election election observers in 6-constitecines
•Ensuring pre-election reports from 6-constituenices of National Assemblies and submitting to FAFEN
•Ensured Identification, profiling, training and accreditation of election observers
•Ensured timely Placement of election observers in assigned polling station
•Ensured Receiving election-day report and sending to FAFEN in time
•Timely ensured deputing post-election observers in 6-constociesReceiving and sharing post- election litigation report to FAFEN
