Russo’s New York Pizzeria is a restaurant that serves Italian Pasta and Pizza with imported cakes and other beverages. Every waiter works in turns as front of house waiter to server guests and as a dispatcher to record and hand over food (Pizza/Pasta/ Cakes/Beverages) to drivers for deliveries
As a waiter:
• Welcome guests as they make their way into the restaurant and suggest a comfortable place to sit (Table for two or Family or with Kids)
• Upselling: Present them with the restaurant menu and make suggestions to them in order to promote certain foods/deserts/beverages in the menu.
• Take down customer’s request and punch on the software for the kitchen to prepare.
• Make constant follow up of customers request to know exactly how long it will take for customer to be served.
• Constant follow up with customer to make sure all their questions are answered as they dine.
• Receive customer’s payment and walk them to the door as they leave the restaurant.
• Rearrange the tables to accommodate any new customer
• At the end of every day, clean the restaurant and prepare it for the next morning
• Reconcile all cash received as sales from customer and hand it over to the manager.
As a Dispatcher:
• Receive orders for delivery from call center and follow-up with cooks to make sure it is done on time.
• Receive food from cooks, Check if the order is exactly what the customer wants and dispatches to the drivers for delivery.
• Receive calls from customers and take down their requests and make sure they are delivered to them in time.
• Resolve lower level of complains by customers on food delay or error, and forwards to the manager if the complaint is more serious.
• Collect money from drivers after deliveries, if payment is by cash (most of the orders are by credit card; the use of International credit card machine.)
• At the end of each day, make a tally of all cash received and non-cash payment and do a balanced financial statement for that day for onward transmission to the manager.
Other duties:
• Maintain hygiene standards and food preservation as prescribed by the Dubai Law. Regular hand wash, use of hand gloves when need arises, keeping the appropriate food temperatures, and so on.
• Assis in the making pizza during busy hours: stretching dough, putting the toppings and cooking in the oven.
• Asist in making short deliveries when there are too many orders.
the Association Of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is an international program run from the head office in UK but cant be done at home countries. I have successfully completed the F1: Accountants in Business, F2: Management Accounting and F3: Financial Accounting and i was awarded a diploma in accounting and Business.I went further to the next stage to do F4: International Business Law and F5: Performance Management.
