PROJECT : FUJAIRAH WATER DISTRIBUTION
POSITION : CIVIL/STRUCTURAL WORKS MANAGER,
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THIS CHALANGING PHASE.
This Project consists of Huge Pumping Station 72, 00, 00, 00 gal. water per day capacity comprising all associated subordinate structures viz. Transformer rooms, huge U/G cable room, surge vessels foundations, pumps shelter, cable & control room and several others structure.
Other part, 120 Km long of 120-600 mm dia. inter-city U/G pipe line. Several road cross NDRCs, many Tap-Off Stations and all kinds of necessary associated valves chambers and shelters involved.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Close control/monitoring/manage the contractors and construction related activities in this project, for timely finish and within the project cost. Method Statement review and comment for approval, Material approvals, try to avoid positive cost variation. Coordinate and manage with multidiscipline departments for smoothly running all works conforming to the project requirements. Attend various meetings.
• Strive to attain the quality and standards as per the project specifications and Project documents.
• Reporting/coordinating time to time our Project Construction management H.O. and site office too, for any issues to sort and to drive Contractor in right direction.
• Promote and push contractor to maintaining all Construction Safety environments.

PROJECT COORDINATOR (Civil & Structural) at ENOC / VOPAK HORIZON FUJAIRAH LTD

PROJECT : VOPAK HORIZON FUJAIRAH LTD. PHASE-VI PROJECT (OIL STORAGE TANKAGE FORM CONSTRUCTION FOR BUNKERING IN FUJAIRA, UAE)
POSITION : PROJEC COORDINATIOR (CIVIL & STRUCTURAL),
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THIS MAGNIFICENT TERMINAL.
This consist of twenty-one numbers of 45.5 & 35.5 mt. dia. above ground oil storage tanks total capacity being 6, 50, 000 cub mts. All of related facilities including tanks and associated foundations after Soil improvement, Containment bund walls, big manifold with huge Pumps & it’s huge foundations, Huge MCC/Switch Gear bldg. and Transformer Rooms, Fire pump house, hot oil structure, huge elevated Pipe Rack structure (1700 mtrs. long) on concrete Piled Foundations and associated Pipe Sleepers, massive and very long network of product & fire pip line, service roads, interfaces with old existing live plant and other accessories / utilities. Marine Oil Tanker Birth Loading arms and Jetty lines expansion also was included in this project for bunkering purposes.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Review, remark and approvals of Project submittals thru contractors with reference to Tender project documents. Drawing review and comments for approvals. Monitor, control and manage the contractors/suppliers and construction related activities in this project for timely finish and within the project cost. Hence try to avoid any positive cost variation. Coordinate with higher management, HSE and multidiscipline departments and manage for smoothly running all works conforming to the project requirements.
• Managing the smooth coordination between the different contractors and with client’s operation team of existing live plant to provide suitable work front without hindrance any other works etc.
• Manage to attain the quality and standards as per the project specifications and Project documents. Contemplation and approval in coordination with client of any site variations thru contractor, if it is really required depending upon the site condition. Review and release the contractor’s monthly bill for payment against acceptable completed works.
• Coordination with our head office, designing department, client and ultimate with the contractor technically helping and encouraging/motivating the contractor in all respects to achieve the set target.
• Reporting/coordinating time to time our Project manager/Projects director for any issues. Work out useful out comes in weekly project coordination and progress meetings with our PMC team and contractor’s project command personnel. Sort any ambiguity using the FIDIC regulations.

PROJECT COORDINATOR at ENOC Lubricant & Grease Plant, UAE

PROJECT : A BIG LUBRICANTS & GREASE MANUFACTURING PLANT INSIDE PORT OF FUJAIRA, UAE.
POSITION : CIVIL/STRUCTURAL WORKS MANAGER,
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THIS NEW PLANT PROJECT.
This consist of all facilities for manufacturing lubricant products Viz. base oil tank farm, marine loading arm on the existing port dock-wall, big network of product and fire pipe lines, grease plant, Blending & homogeneous plant, additive plant, ware house, utility area with chimney, Laboratory & control room, Admin bldg., workers facility, switch gear plus transformer rooms and all other U/G utilities. (Per annum production capacity is 30, 000 tons lubricating oil, 25, 000 tons Marine grade lubricants and 3, 000 tons grease)

RESPONSIBILTIES: Same as mentioned above, in ENOC / VOPAK HORIZON FUJAIRAH LTD. PHASE-VI.

PROJECT : HORIZON TENGIERS TERMINAL Ltd \{ OIL TANKAGE FORM CONSTRUCTION IN STRAIGHT OF GIBRALTER ( SPAIN / MOROCCO) TERRITORIES \}
POSITION : PROJECT COORDINATOR,
PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THIS TERMINAL PROJECT.
This Project was built totally from the grass root with all infrastructures, facilities, capacity were approximate same as of above Vopak Horizon Phase VI in Fujairah, UAE. Construction of dock wall was included in my assignment.

RESPONSIBILTIES: Same as mentioned in above ENOC projects, in addition to that I was handling independently our QA/QC department on-site and off-site too. (This short-go is just for reducing nos. of pages)

PROJECT ENGINEER at WEIR TECHNA / VEOLIA WATER SERVICES CO. LTD. (Scottish / French Joint Venture Multinational Company) 4Mumtaz Khan

PROJECT MANAGEMENT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR THIS OIL BUNKERING VENTURE.
This consist of Nine numbers of 55 & 39 mt. dia. above ground oil storage tanks (total capacity being 350 000 cub
mt., its related bund wall, manifold and other accessories / utilities. Jetty expansion also was included for OTB
Birth number 5 & 6 in this project for bunkering purposes.
RESPONSIBILTIES: Same as mentioned above in ENOC project, in addition to that some are as follows.
• Review/Remarks and approvals of monthly progress and QA/QC report, prequalification’s, documents of Sub-
contractors/suppliers, ITP’s and As-built documentation. Prepare and attain the punch list items etc.

EPC AND SUPERVISION OF SUB-CONTRACTORS FOR THIS TECHNICALLY COMPLEX PROJECT.
A marvelously designed Project in order to accommodate all of the structures and facilities in a limited area with
the existing live plant. Project cost 250 million Saudi riyals.
The project contains three storied Admin.& control room bldg. a range of heavy industrial structures i.e. big R.O.
plant, sub-stations bldg, workshops and amenities, service roads, land and hard scaping etc.
Reconstruction/refurbishment of sea water intake old Marine structure inside Jeddah Sea-Port was a big quantum
of work in this project. Long U/G water pipe lines were involved for distribution and intake purpose.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Co-ordination between client, consultant and the contactors for all construction matters.
• Liaising with Port authorities to follow their regulations and procedures for project execution.
• Close control on the construction of each & every structure, facilities of the whole project, drawing review/
comments and approvals. Observe & approvals all contractor’s documents, works and materials.
• Maintain quality & standards per the project documents with or w/o some acceptable variation in the design as
per the site requirement. Coordinating with Project Manager and ultimate to contractors’ for any issue for
timely completion within the set project schedule and cost.

Cost 180 million Saudi riyals, comprising a number of entertainment & commercial structures viz. 42mt. high
large-range Looping Coaster, 65mt.x32mt ice rink for ice skating, 20mt. high elevated parking building for 500
cars. “Amazone” building for different types of amusing rides and a large double storied main building for
miscellaneous purposes. All of these structures are built on total 833 nos. pile foundations.
This is the biggest amusement park in GCC countries which has been constructed totally inside the sea with
enormous backfilling stone armoring for break water and under water construction involved.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Worked in the quality control dept. as Q.A./Q.C. Engineer, performing inspections of construction activities to
verify the compliance with specs. and drawings, ultimately getting approval from the client.
• Due to demobilization of Q.C. manager from the site I became the head of Q.C. department for this project.
