Main Accountabilities include: (2010-2014):
Budgeting & Forecast
 Preparing the relevant year budget and three year plans with assumptions by department of finance of Dubai (DOF).
 Submit the annual year budget and support the finance director for getting budget approval from (DOF) by providing all the budget justification and supported analysis’s and documents.
 Review and revise the budgets on quarterly basis as per KHDA executive management decision.
 Communicating on yearly basis all the budget financial laws and instruction by (DOF) to all finance team & KHDA Non-Arab management speakers for their information and necessary actions by translating them in English and validating it with government department of finance (Dewan).
 Preparing monthly P&L for 11 business units.
 Preparing Opex & Capex forecasts for Dashboard reporting and producing the full year forecasts on a monthly basis.
 MIS & Reporting - Produce quality monthly and ad hoc reports to line manager; establishes detailed report analysis as per Budget holder’s needs and develops appropriate key reports and statistics.
Management Financial reports
 Preparing the financial slides for management review which contain (FY budget, FY forecast, Total spending in projects, FY Cash In/Out, Potential Surplus/Deficit and etc.).
 Preparing financial report for management decision and information (Cash report, Project spending report, Revenue reports and etc.).
 Variance Analysis - Carry out and present variances analysis against budget and previous month/ previous year as required by the Director of Finance and KHDA senior management.
 Consolidation of KHDA financials for monthly Dashboard Reporting.
 Organized and ran KHDA project committee meetings (MEP) and circulating the actions required to the responsible departments & project managers.
Cash-Flow
 Preparing the cash report analysis.
 Conducted quarterly Cash and Accrual (Statutory) Accounting at CC level (explained 90% of differences).
 Follow the monthly cash position of all the major business units.
 Monthly cash-flow reports consolidation for all BU and evolution analysis (vs. previous year and forecast).
 Providing comments or justification on the cash-flows.
Monthly closing
 Running the first and final GL extract report after operations done with closing.
 Reclassification for all the current month entries if needed.
 Running the end month and mid-month Open PO reports and circulating it for the finance team.





Information systems
 Use extensively the different IS to take the best of the data and provide useful reports and analyzes to the operational teams and budget team (Workflow system, GRP system & Customer service system).

Contribution in Finance team & in KHDA (2010-2014):
 Finance Processes - Plays active role in implementing best practices throughout the projects; oversees the follow-up projects and ensure all KHDA finance processes complies with internal control procedures. Ensure all reports are available on the shared drive for easy access and document the various processes followed for generating reports.
 Customer Relations - Enhance effective relations with project managers and KHDA shared services and manage feedback efficiently.
 Capacity Building - Develop and conducts training sessions for non-financial managers and participate in finance team sessions.
 Learning & Growth Champion - Responsible for finance dept staff development and career path for total number of 15 employees by preparing individual development Plans for all the finance staff and plan contain their professional needs and as well their line manager recommendation for the their professional growth.
