Assisting the Managing Director who is in charge of purchase. Correspondence of various internal and external operations involved in the planning, development and execution of the new projects & day to day purchase related information’s with overseas suppliers as well as architects, contractors, sub-contractors, shopping mall management and other third parties involved.
Accurate filing of both hard copy and e-versions all correspondence and confidential project documents in their respective files for future reference
Payment as per terms L/C Opening, Preparation and negotiation of L/C documents with Bank & day to day follow up with banks until goods delivered. Also, advising and co-coordinating with the suppliers with the payment terms and delivery of goods in all manners.
Follow up with each order and supplier in receiving the ordered items in timely as per the delivery period and terms.
Co-coordinating with the brand mangers, boutiques for re-order preparation and process to receive the required quantity when the showroom required.
Logistics management by tracking the shipments originating from the suppliers scattered around the world.
Proper following up to ensure timely delivery of the shipments well ahead of the deadline.Performing balance enquiry of the shipments pending by processing and analyzing the information supplied by the warehouse
Handling delivery discrepancies of the shipment arrived by processing the information provided by the warehouse. Intimating the delivery discrepancies to the suppliers and following up each topic of discrepancy until it gets solved. Preparation of accurate shipment documents for goods return
Handling shipment defects by coordinating with warehouse and boutique managers. Following up each case of defect until it gets solved
Preparation of deadline driven advance and final payments to international and local suppliers for the orders placed. Intimating the suppliers immediately after effecting the payment
