• Investigating ground conditions and analyzing results of site tests, such as soil samples;
• Ensure that newly erected structures are structurally sound;
• Using computers and computer-aided design (CAD) technology for simulation purposes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Structural designing for multistoried buildings using latest design software like ETAB, SAFE & STAAD Pro etc on the basis of ACI & UBC.
• To prepare design calculation reports on the basis of loading parameters from ACI & UBC.
• To modify the design of projects as per standards of the concerned approving authority, site conditions and as per client requirements.
• To review and check all structural drawings.
• To ensure design review of structural design models.
• To modify the drawings of the projects by giving instructions to the drafting team.
• To visit the site in case of any problem in execution or for giving guideline.

Batinah Coastal Road (Barka to Wudam AS’ Sahil Km: 0+000 - 59+500, OMAN) is a massive project which is having a Highway 2x2 Total Length: 59.5 km, Service roads 85.5 km, Link roads 15.5 km, 1 Interchange, 16 Roundabouts, 11 Wadi Bridges, 155 Box culverts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• As a Senior Design Engineer, making shop drawings for the bridges and supervising the drawings of culverts.
• Making necessary changes in the design wherever required.
• Represent company in all the meetings with Supervisory Consultant and Client regarding design issues.

• STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS AND DESIGNING IN EARTHQUAKE AFFECTED AREAS
Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Project was one of the mega projects in Pakistan. I had been involved on that project for more than 4 years. Worked on new structural systems to design and construct earthquake resistant structures in zone-4, these structural systems are Special Moment Resisting Frames (SMRF), Cold Rolled /Light Gauge Steel frames and Confined Masonry systems. These systems were adopted in educational, governance and health sector buildings.
