Duties & Responsibilities:
• Project in-charge for the implementation of Utilities and Drainage, Irrigation work and others work with discipline site wide within the facilities under my supervision.
• Knowledge of working in fast-track projects to achieve the work on target date.
• Coordinate with assigned contractors work packages (Task orders) ensuring contractual requirements are meet on quality, safety, program, and target date of accomplishment.
• Supervision of Beach works with Potable Water Tank.
• Supervision of Landscaping Hard and Soft scaping works with all services
• Arranging site inspector, Land surveyor to manage in time for the contractor’s raised inspection for request with approved drawings, method statement, and materials approval.
• Complete knowledge of TDP Approvals and Shut down approvals with related end users.
• Review shop drawing and ensure implementation on site.
• Examine contract documents to identify material and contract requirement of the projects.
• Conduct inspection, testing and quality control of Utilities, asphalt laying works and pre work checklist.
• Coordinate with other disciplines in the projects management’s team and the design consultants to ensure compatibility of project works.
• Attending Progress, Coordination, QA/QC meetings for the matching of Tie in points related to Roads and Utilities.
• Checking the Prime coat/ Tack coat rate of application, Base course thickness as per approved drawing.

• Increasing the number of lanes of Al Furousiya Street to 4 lanes with a service road in each direction
• Converting Al Furousiya and Muaither roundabouts into signal-controlled intersections

• Installing 233 light poles on Al Furousiya Street
• Providing pedestrian and cyclist lanes
• Pavement and installing directional signage

Al Furousiya Street project has increased the number of lanes on 7.8km of the street starting from Al Manaseer Intersection towards Al Furousiya Intersection. Works included the construction of service roads on both sides of the street and upgrading four signalized intersections by expanding Al Manaseer Intersection and introducing a new signalized intersection at Umm al Jamajim Street as well as converting Al Furousiya and Muaither Roundabouts to signalized intersections. Works also included the construction of 570 parking bays in addition to the upgrading of the lighting system and the installation of 233 lighting poles. In order to encourage a healthy lifestyle, 15.7km of pedestrian path and 5.6km of cycle paths were also constructed. Improvement works also included pavement, interlock and road marking works as well as the development of an irrigation system and landscaping works along the street covering over 70, 000sqm with 1, 000 trees. Infrastructure works within the project comprised developing the main drainage networks and connecting houses to this network and constructing permanent stormwater, groundwater, and wastewater treatment networks in addition to protecting the underground telecommunications, potable water and electricity utility lines. the work includes Foul Water Network, Storm Water Network, Treated Sewage Network (TSE), Traffic Signals, Street Lighting, Intelligent Traffic System (ITS), Security Systems Department (SSD), (MOI-SSD) Qatar National Broadband Network (QNBN), Utility Works kahramaa. Ooredoo, QAF, Landscaping &Irrigation Works. The project was implemented by Al Jaber and Makhlouf Contracting Company, at a cost of approximately QR250mn.

Above projects consist of Infrastructure, Utilities Manateq Oasis four wing Building, Light industrial Logistic Internal Roads, Mixed use office / Warehouses facilities and Utilities. Construction of Asphalt Road (Parcel A & B) & Paving Block Roads included earthworks, pavement layers, construction/ installation of road signage, road marking, Traffic signals, gantries and related street lighting foundation works. The total length of the Asphalt roads is 12.5km in Wakra Logistic Park and Qatar Special Economic Zone 3 - Ras Bu Fontos area. Internal Asphalt Roads is 5 KM with Cycle path asphalt works along the main Roads. wet utilities (Foul water, Storm / Portable water, TSE Lines), Dry utilities of 12 km length.

The infrastructure project CP8-A1 / A2 - The project is to construct 4km of Asphalt Road, around 10 km of Paver Blocks Road along with 12 km of wet utilities (Foul water, Storm / Portable water, TSE Lines), Dry utilities of 12 km length.
Project consist of deep sewer line for which micro tunneling is being used with a depth up to 13 meters. Project consists of numbers of deep shafts for micro tunneling access with a diameter of 5.0 meter.
The Project CP-04 The project is to construct Around 4 km of Asphalt Road with 9 km of wet utilities (Foul water, Storm / Portable water, TSE Lines), Dry utilities and paving block in medians/verges. Earthworks, pavement layers, installation of road signage, road marking, Traffic signals, gantries and related street lighting and high mast foundation works.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Extensive Experience in supervision of all aspects of Utilities, Roads and Highways construction (Earthworks, Sub-base, Road base, Wet Mix, Asphaltic Layers, Kerbing, Paving Block, Road Marking, street lighting, traffic signals & signs and Boulevard Road and Alleyway Road and Concrete Work.
• Familiar with all pipes Testing Methodology as per QCS & Projects Specifications
• Road Utilities Services Ducting / Installation (Electrical LV & HV), Telecommunication, Street lighting, Traffic Light, Irrigation, Firefighting and Potable Water Sleeve, etc).
• Road Maintenance Work (Removal, Relaying, Reinstall, Road Layer, Tile, Kerb, Sign etc)
• Soil Improvement (Dynamic Compaction, Soil stabilization, and Reinforced Earth)
• Rehabilitation, replacement, and CCTV inspection survey of existing sewerage line.
• Familiar with all Roads activities - Prime / Tack Coat, Laying of Asphalt Course BC-Class A & B, wearing course and Road markings in accordance with the QCS, ITP, Method statement and Asphalt Trial Mix.
• Keep daily records of ongoing Road works.
• Carry out daily inspections of Roads work and sign off the relevant part of the contractors RFI in a timely manner.
• Ensure site HSE procedures are followed during construction.
• Preparing a daily site diary and report to the Resident Engineer and Senior disciplines Engineer on daily activities and ongoing works.
• Carry out daily inspections of the works and sign off the relevant part of the contractor’s RFI’s / Raise any non-conformances or poor workmanship in a timely manner.
• Familiar with Rolling straight edge, IRI test.
• Ensuring material sampling and testing are carried out as per the project specifications.
• Provide technical support to Contractor as per site requirement.
• Maintaining construction records (Weekly/Monthly) for progress reporting.
• Supervision and monitoring of Roads Backfilling works including FDT Test with Third Party Laboratories.
• Attend quality control and site coordination meetings.
• Monitor the progress of all Asphalt laying works and responsible for inspection and certify various stages of works.
• Ensuring approved stockpiles material traceability on site usage.
• Inspection of completed works, prepare snag list and handing over notes for final handover to the end user.
• Ensuring all discipline services/ Utilities checklist are cleared prior to asphalt laying.
• Supervising asphalt cutting, rectification and re-instatement works in accordance with the project requirement.
• Preparation road maintenance works.

• Perform any other essential project engineering associated duties agreed and assigned by senior Engineers and RE.

Mechanical Works: -
• Inspection of Delivery shipment and Installation of Ductile Iron Pipes, Standard Pipes, Restrained Pipes, Socket Spigot Cut Pipes, Double Spigot Cut Pipes, Chamber Fittings, Flanged, Central puddle flange, 45-degree Bends, Gate valve, Butterfly Valves, etc., different diameter D.I. Pipes (1600mm, 1200mm, 800mm, 600mm, 400mm, and 200mm) mainly used for TSE and Potable water Incoming & Rising mains.
• Witness all testing, Thickness Coating (mm) for Ductile Iron Pipes with, Elco Meter, and Holiday tests 4 KV, for Ductile Iron Pipes Irregularities Wrapping Prior to installation.
• Witness for Hydro test. Pressure water test, 10 Bars, making snag list and totally aware of projects handing over of works to operating authority (Ashghal / Kahramaa) as per QCS.
• Factory visits and visiting approved Third-party laboratories for materials sampling and testing as per the frequency specified.

• Construction supervision of infrastructure utilities works including sewer, storm water line, house connection, chilled water piping, ACO drain system, fireman line, 12 No.11KVsubstation, sea water ship cleaning, potable water, etc.
• Implementation of site safety procedures.
• Ensure compliance with governmental requirements and liaise with regulatory bodies.
• Supervision of Non-Disruptive Road Crossing (NDRC) from 900 mm to 1800 mm.
• Supervision of closed camera TV (CCTV) and curing in place pipe (CIPP) and rehabilitation of pipe and manholes.
• Obtaining all the permission, NOC and NOI from different Authorities for asphalt open cut, tiles removal, NDRC, dewatering, green area, traffic diversion, etc.
• Follow up mobilization and demobilization arrangement at site.
• Ensure contractor coordinates with all concerned authorities department and endure that their requirement and satisfactorily incorporated.
• Project in-charge for the implementation of civil works and coordination work with other discipline within the facilities under my supervision.
• Coordinate with assigned contractors work packages ensuring contractual requirements to meet on quality, safety, program, and target date of accomplishment.
• Checking all details of approved shop drawings, Method statement and material submittals.
• Witness all testing of materials conducted on site and witnessing site inspections.
• Check quarry sites and conduct soil analysis on the materials, and Review mix design for asphalt and concrete use in paving and utilities chambers.
• Supervision of detail survey work before starting Utilities works - surveying, marking, excavation, bedding preparation, pipe/ cable laying and initial testing prior to backfilling.
• Monitoring project progress according to look ahead schedule and planning program.
• Timely reporting for any non-conformance of ongoing works at site, to the discipline senior engineer and QC.
