Main Responsibilities:
• Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all current IT systems, including, operating systems, software applications, , peripherals, telephone system, door access system, CCD camera system.
•Oversees the development, design, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing computer systems and software packages.
Manage software design, development and support processes. Streamlines the process to address end-user requests.
•Analyze business requirements and develop tools to automate processes
•Develop & Admin current System (commercial system and other system)
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (ICT)
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for electronic data processing and computer systems operations and development
•DRP - Data Recovery Plan and BCP- Business Continuity Plan, Risk Management
• Meet with managers/Staff to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and timelines
• Hire and manage information systems personnel and contractors to design, develop, implement, operate and administer computer and telecommunications software, networks and information systetem
• Manage financial aspects of the IT Department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system
• Familiar with all hardware and software used in company
• Familiar with network operating system
• Provide orientation to new users of existing technology
• Train staff about potential uses of existing technology
• Train staff about new and potential use
•Manage all users’ requests through service desk system
• Provide individual training and support on request
• Provide recommendations about accessing information and support
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
•Ensures appropriate documentation for All IT Dept
• Install & Configure windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012, Mail server -2007, 2010 and 2013
•Install & Configure HP Server Ex: Proliant DL 380 and DL 360 and ML Server
•Install & Configure NAS Server (Ex: Netgear ReadyNas 3200 and 3220)
•Manage MFP printer (Small to Big), network and standalone printers
•Install and Configure print server
• Troubleshoot all technology issues (Windows server, Mail Server MS Exchange 2007, 2010 and 2013, …etc)
• Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
• Make recommendations about purchase of technology resources
• Research current and potential resources and services
• Provide network access to all staff and guest
• Install workstations
• Connect and set up hardware
• Load all required software
• Provide network accounts and passwords as required
• Monitor security of all technology
• Install and maintain Foolproof and passwords
• Input and maintain IP addresses
• Advise staff of security breach and/or change in password or security status
• Ensure installation of lock out programs
• Identify and prepare hardware for disposal when appropriate
• Ensure hardware is stripped and secured before disposal
Perform other related duties as required during working hours and outside working hours
Responspolities :
- Onsite Customer Support
-Responsible for Installation of Email and Proxy Server.
-Implementation of LAN and WAN Setups Using Lantronix, Dlink,
3com and Cisco products.
-Providing technical support to customer throughout Middle East for
Lantonix products.
-Installation of email, internet and fax gateways.
-Maintain existing network setup and daily support for existing
customers
Technical :
-Installation and administration of Windows 95, 98, ME, NT & 2000
-Support and worked on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4 Workstation and
server and 2000 Professional and server.
-Installation of server (Ex: CompaqProliant 1600/3000, ML 370,
Assembled - INTEL ), configuring RAIDS and Arrays.
-Installation of file servers (Ex: PROCOM)
-Working experience of Mdaemon and Wingate as email and proxy
servers.
-Implementation and administration of Microsoft Exchange and Proxy
servers.
-Installation of SQL server.
-Installation of print servers and RAS servers from Lantronix.
-Installation of AXIS Camera Server.
-Testing and installation of remote administration utilities like
PCANYWHERE and Control IT.
-Installing Email software (POP3 and SMTP) in multiple domain
environments and integrating it with existing mail servers. .
-Installation of relay fax and other email to fax solution in different
environments.
-Installation of faxmaker using Brooktrout DID card.
-Installation of different ISDN Modems and switches .
-Installation of Cisco router 800 and 1600 series as internet gateway.
-Administration and setup of domain names, Virtual hosting and
Ecommerce based projects.
-Troubleshooting wide range of Pcs -Desktops & Notebooks-
(like Compaq, IBM, Dell, HP, Acer, Toshiba, Fujitsu, AST, DTK,
CLR).
-DATA recovery using recovery tools
-Installation of Backup solutions Hardware like (HP Surestore Tape
Backup Internal & External HP Colorado, PROCOM DLT tape, ZIP,
JAZ Drives, JAZ Server from AXIS), Software (VERITAS Backup
Exec, Tapeware, ARC server) for workstations & servers.
-Setting of PALM and Compaq IPAQ with Windows CE.
