Project Name: MSSB NextGen Infrastructure Services, Long Island City, New York.Client: Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, New York, US.Role:Project Manager/Coordinator, Organization:Mahindra Satyam, US.Duration:Jan 2010 - Till Date, Team Size 20, Environment O/S : Windows 7, Windows 2003/2000, Windows XP SP2Virtualization: Microsoft App-V 4.5, XenApp 5.0, VMWare ESX Server.Tools: PVCS, Wise Package Studio 8.0, Altiris Deployment Solution, VB Scripting, Wise Scripting, ORCA, ProcessMon and various in-house tools.Achievements: Successfully met all the customer expectation using onsite and offshore model. It was very challenge in coordinating cross platform/organisation and managing the Engineering, Integration and then offshore team as well. Team Lead:•Leading a MSI project with 15 members.•Packaging and repackaging the applications given by the customers using Wise package studio and deploying them on the various sites remotely using Netop tool.•Modify and configure custom actions, merge modules, .MSI’s, .MST’s, custom installations based on enterprise needs. Creating generic package that is excluding the licenses and the registration information from the package. Also, using System Search, File Association, Application Isolation and Command lines in wise. If the Advertise fails to then we are using Microsoft Active Setup.•Embedding the Wise scripts, VB Script and command line in the package if required.•Define and create guidelines for standard packaging methods. Define and create guidelines for peer reviews of packaged applications. Other Duties include Peer Review / Pre QA Review. •Define and create Peer Review and Engineering documentation by studying every issue deeply. Preparing the technical articles on repeated issues, new release patches and procedure of handling tools/utilities.•Work with QA to assist in the smooth transition of application releases.
