Planning for supply chain and operations strategies and stand sure that the strategies are in line with corporate strategies.
-Managing supply chain projects and production operations to meet the desired goals and optimum expectations.
-Managing the projects/operations scopes to ensure there is no shrink in the scope or creep.
-Using the best scheduling plans to ensure timely closure of the projects and operations..
- Planning and implementation for budget allocation of purchases and transportation of the projects and operations.
- Collection of information about market position so as to tailor the most appropriate purchasing plans at the beginning of the purchasing season.
- Arrange market’s quantity, quality and price survey during the season to catch any potential changes in market conditions so as to update the initial purchasing strategies accordingly.
- Maintaining budgetary control strategies so as to keep projects and operations budgets on the planned baselines.
- Using appropriate methods to qualify and quantify risks to minimize their impacts and maximize the probability to be exposed to opportunities in business environment.
- Planning to optimize the combination of the best quantities to be purchased at the lowest prices at the best desired qualities to ensure best submissions and outcomes of the projects and operations.
- Arrangement of the flow of goods purchased to the suitable destinations located in different locations in the country and outside the country.
-Adapting transportation pool to facilitate raw and finished goods transfer.
-Manage movement of goods on time and integrate the movement of raw materials with the desired timing for finished goods to ensure the best closure for the projects and operations.
-Manage warehouses to insure always capability to receive, store and draw goods at any time.
-Build and manage projects and operations teams.
-Administrating international contractual agreements and their execution and arrangements concerning export and import documents
-Managing export and import banking procedures.
-Manage INCOTERMS selection for exporting and importing contracts
-Warehousing development strategies (adopting different lean strategies like 5s elements)
-Cooperation with different shipping and transportation companies to insure shipment of goods on contract time and avoiding any potential delays
- Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods (lean approach).
- Insure timely movement of goods and supplies to the desired customers ports and destination.
- Effectively using the statistical approaches (Six Sigma Methodology) to decrease variations is supply chain process and production operations.
- Using the Lean Approach to reduce waste in supply chain and production operations activities (e.g Process Mapping, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen..etc).
