•Technical processing of the library’s informational material including skills such cataloging, classification according to Library of Congress Scheme.
•Classification according to the latest edition of the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme .
•Providing Current awareness and Reference Services to the users.
•Providing Circulation Services to the Users.
•Monitoring, tracking and recording the use of library equipment including books, periodicals, computers, audio-visual equipment and others.
•Taking full responsibility of the shelving process of all library materials.
•Develop and implements reading initiative to motivate and engage each student independent reading.
•Providing Professional development to teachers to investigate how technology and information skills can support curriculum and instruction.
•Establishes, maintains and updates an automated Catalogue
•Develops Library vision, mission, and goals with input from administrators, teachers, students, and all other stakeholders
•Documents and maintains records on all aspects of the Library Program
•Effectively communicates the vision for the college library to the faculty, staff, and community
•Communicates regularly with staff, students about library resources and programs in various forms (e.g. Staff meetings, newsletters, student newspaper, displays, Web page).
•Provide technical expertise, support, and training for digital library planning and development.
