 As a team member, worked on the development of a new drug carrier made of alginate
 Focused on monitoring the method for controlling polyelectrolyte-based colloid formation
 The objective was to conclude which concentration would work best of both sodium alginate and calcium chloride that would tend to form calcium alginate with highly stable particle
 The data analysis showed that there is an increase of the particle size with time. However, the data analysis of some concentrations showed a drop in the particle size with longer time.
 Performed required calculations, prepared samples, conducted tests and experiments, observed chemical reactions, collected, analyzed, interpreted, and reported data.

Studied and analyzed processes involving plant stream flows (P&ID drawings) including with sour oil, sweet oil,
and gases
* Performed detailed mass balance calculations for different units (spheroids/flash drums and
stabilizers/distillation columns)
* Gained familiarity with Gas Oil Separation Plants (GOSPs)
 Performed calculations used to design a new flash drum or a distillation column
 Completed required operational paper work for safety and production purposes

Provided technical operator support on plant streams flow (including P&ID drawing) for a Utility Plant dealing
with water, steam, and air
* Learned of all inlets and outlet in each unit (tracing) for processes
* Dealt with start-up and shut down of pumps and compressors
* Collected water samples to determine concentration of salts and algae to avoid corrosion and fouling
* Assisted with process operation control monitoring.
* Completed required operational paper work for safety and production purposes
